Ragnos didn't expect the pirates, Boba Fett forces, and Mandalorians joining the Rebellion. Besides, he noticed eight droid frigates and did not understand where they came from. All droid frigates were no more because the last they saw them was in the battle over Mustafar when came to life. As a result, Dooku and Grievous contacted their leader to see if they could persuade joining them. Kalani responded to know who must deal with. The droids, accompanied by Kalani, looked at him, Grievous, and Dooku and did not know what to say.

"General Kalani it passed a long time since we see the last time," remarked Dooku and saw Kalani in great shape. "Your armor is new and clean after so many years."

"Thanks," bowed Kalani in face of Dooku. Also, he made a tiny sign to other droids to see from what star destroyer the communication came. "What do you want?"

"Do you remember I am the Supreme Commander of Droids?" asked Grievous and looked at Kalani. "Your ally side is not the rebellion, but us."

"How do you want to proceed?" asked Kalani to buy more time for droids. "Never forget my origins or the one who builds me, general."

"Good, turn your fire against your allies," ordered Dooku and saw how the cannons stopped firing. "I said to shoot your friends, dumb droid."

"Kalani, we fire our friends or the star destroyer in front of us?" asked a droid, a bit intrigued. Aso, he marked on the holotable the star destroyer from where the transmission came. "I don't want to hurt my friends."

"You will pay for treason, Kalani," threatened Grievous after seeing Kalani stab him in the back.

"You treat me and my friends like animals, and we never forget that," informed Kalani. "My mistress repaired all droids and treated them with respect as humans. Nice to see you, General Grievous in one piece plus Count of Sad Dick. You must be a lizard if you grow hands and head."

Kalani closed the channel and contacted the command to tell them where was the enemy leaders. Later, fired at the Star Destroyers and looked at squadron leaders who led the attack. The leaders were Han, Leia, Ackbar, Chewbacca, Lando, Fenn, Hondo, Boba Fett, Din Djarin, and Bo Katan.
