Chapter 39: A gift from Padawan

Alex grabbed Mike's lightsabers and summoned his starship to take some tools. He went into the living room to study Ahsoka's and Mike's lightsabers. Later took a page from a notebook and noticed it belonged to Liam. He signed each drawing about supernatural creatures and Wesen. Alex used the holocall to analyze all lightsabers and draw the model on the page. When done, he dismembered the lightsabers and put the components in four compartments. It didn't want to lose the lightsaber components or tangle them. After an hour, Liam, Berty, and Smoulder woke up, saw Alex was missing and went downstairs to the living room. Before Liam had the chance to wish him good morning, he had stepped on a noisy duck of rubber and scared Alex. Alex focused on the drawing, not hearing Mike's footsteps and only the duck. He attempt to push Liam into the wall because he thought was someone else, but Berty used Kamui on him. Alex apologized and said the work had caught him.

"What are you doing?" wondered Liam because not expect such a reaction. "I hope this is not because I look like Mike."

"No, is not that," apologized Alex and showed his drawings. "I want to do something for Mike and I focus too much on the drawing and not hear your footsteps."

"Is fine," shared Liam and look at the drawings.

"What do you plan to do with these sketches? Why are Mike's lightsabers dismembered?" asked Berty and saw all four lightsabers.

"Straight lightsabers or curved lightsabers have ups and downs. To do not have five lightsabers, four will work with his needs," answered Alex.

"Considering, he carries the lightsaber of her grandmother, has five," calculated Smoulder.

"Do you want to combine the lightsabers to switch between the curved and straight hilt," spoke Liam.

"It seems so," confirmed Smoulder and analyzed them. "With one click, they convert."

Alex dismembered the curved lightsaber, placed the components in Ahsoka's lightsaber. Then unite both hilts with the device and saw Liam was curious. Alex told him the device generated an adaptive armor with any model stored in device memory. It mentioned its use in this way too to change the hilts from standard to curve and vice versa. In half of an hour, finished making the lightsabers after the sketch. Liam held the lightsabers, sensing Alex's frustration and before asking, Alex confessed.

"I never imagined my leaving would make him a Grey Jedi. Because that happens, I don't know how to change back," confessed Alex and showed the main lightsaber of Mike. "I am amazed to see him find balance."

"Dude, we lost a brother, you," shared Berty and climbed on him. "We didn't lose misses Balasa from the hill. Also, because of us three, Mike's use dual lightsabers again."

"What do you mean, Alex?" wondered Liam. "By the way, Mike is emotive and uses the emotions to his advantage because Ahsoka encourages him to do that."

"Ahsara, Mike, and Ahsoka fight like an assassin. How they hold the lightsaber is unpredictable," answered Alex and took the lightsabers. "Because of my past, I know how to read people. Mike seems to be a guy easy to read, but not be a fool by apparitions because is like a flower with a serpent under it."
