Chapter 38: Body Swap

All thought that was a joke, but Mike, inside of the body of Theo, showed the record about the fight with that Sith. When they saw the fight, Ahsoka looked and did not believe what she saw because never dealt with this in the past. She sighed when realized it was no joke and promised them would go to find an answer to their problem. After they closed the holocall, Ahsoka went to Luke to tell him what happened. She found Luke with Barriss, Durqok, Mara, Galen, and Kyle, discussing the fate of Ragnos. When Ahsoka told them, they had the same reaction as her. Mara and Barriss were familiar with the ritual, but never get why used an object essence transfer. Both knew it required such a spell power and control and according to them, Sith never had that power but did it. To be sure, they did not do wrong, and to fix that was to ask somebody who had immense knowledge about such ability. Marka Ragnos was a master in magic because, during his reign, the Sith magic was the empire's core. They went to him, who was with Tavion and Alora in the cell. They found Nina there talking with Tavion, and Ragnos wondered why the Jedi visited him.

"Is an honor to meet again, master Jedi," mocked Ragnos and noticed something was unright. "I guess you have not come because miss me."

"Trust me, we have other business to do than visit you, Ragnos," assured Durqok and show the record. "If you help us with this, we can arrange for your punishment to be more pleasant."

"Mike is fine? What was that?" wondered Nina after seeing what moment when they switched bodies.

"They are fine," answered Ahsoka and murmured when entered details. "Now he is Theo, Theo is Liam, and Liam is Mike. Also, Alin is Berty; Berty is Smoulder, and Smoulder is Alin."

"Never encounter this Sith before," shared Alora. "Don't think we handle his actions, and are many Sith there lurking around."

"We don't care if you do or not," advised Mara. "What is this ability that the Sith use?"

"My dear, the Emperor assassin, and Sidious learn you about the dark side," informed Tavion. "Everything comes with a price."

"I served under Vader as his secret apprentice," murmured Galen and shared. "Know nothing about the dark side."

"I get your frustration and Tavion has right," shared Ragnos and put the record to see the object. "I tell you for doing something for me, understood?"

"It depends on what you ask," spoke Barriss because she could not believe they did that. "What do you want?" "Our crimes forgotten, new identities, and a place where grow our heir," informed Ragnos. "To don't have any surprises from you and me, we will sign a pact with blood, and the one who breaks his word, dies."

"Is not what expecting to ask," shared Katarn in disbelief and give the knife to Luke. "I hope you enjoy this jungle because must stay at the Academy." "Fine, agree to sign the pact, but tell us what this is," agreed with Luke and cut at hand with Ragnos knife. "It seems you don't joke with the death."

"Is a ceremonial knife that summons the death and tears the soul of who brake his word," shared Ragnos. "Back to the record, somebody attempted to make an essence transfer."

"That is everything?" wondered Ahsoka because expected to find more. "If you don't say everything, will regret the day of your birth." "That we know it is too, but hoped more," shared Galen. "You find if allow me to finish," yelled Ragnos at Ahsoka. "They use a device that stores the force to allow him to enter the body of his host and kill it."
