I see these narcissistic faces everyday, haunting me in some way.
I see the lights going blue,
scaring me in a way,
that makes me scream and shout but nothing gets out.
It's a cage.
It's a trap,
It brings me down and breaks me apart.
These narcissistic faces,
make me unsure of myself,
they make me cry,
they make me sob.
But nothing gets past these four empty walls.
It's a cage.

I forgot the need to resurface now, the darkness swallows me,
Darkness; its comfortable in a way, it lets me breath, it lets me live, it lets me forget about them for a while.
But it comes back again,
It's a cage.

These empty faces.
