Chapter 3 (edited)

Sorry for not updating been real busy, but I promise to update two chapters today.

ADRIEN'S P.O.V

I was pacing around our cell trying to get some idea on how to escape the floating vessel, but the only thing that clouded my mind is... her... the Captain and her appearance. Letting out a heavy sigh I stopped my pacing and turned to Ladybug hoping that she was having better luck coming up with something. The look on her face revealed that she was struggling as well, taking a deep breathe I turn to her and said, "Hey, M'lady what do you think is the best option for us to take, to get out of this situation?"

"It seems that the only way too go back to our time is to understand her...like what Time warp said," She said, looking down in defeat. Her hands lay by her side limp and anger crossing her features.

"Are you sure? You do realise that she has killed a man right in front of us right," I replied, staring at her expecting that she would have one of her ladybug moments, but what came was a sad smile and tear filled eyes.

"I know but it guarantees our survival and going back to our time," she replied, looking at me with hatred and fear like agreeing on giving up our miraculous' to Hawkmoth.

"Okay, but if anything happens and you get hurt we will leave this ship immediately by force if necessary," I replied, giving her a soft smile to maybe ease the idea of us being stuck in the Victorian era forever with someone who leads a ship of bloodthirsty pirates.

"That is a good idea Chat." she replied, with a large smile on her face. Her previous sadness seem to disappear into the very air we are relying on for breathing.

"Not a problem Ladybug," I said, while looking at the entrance of the cell deep in thought. That was until someone opened the door causing me and ladybug to look at a person who looked a lot like Luka come down the stairs with a nervous smile on his face. I put my guard up just encase something were to happen to either me or Ladybug.

"Hi, I'm Luke the second in command of the Golden Specter, I just wanted to tell you that for dinner we are having scallops with spaghetti. If you are allergic then I can ask the cook to make you something else instead," Luka said, with a bright smile. but the fidgeting of his hands say otherwise and the sweat that was coming down on his forehead.  

"Thanks Luke, but me and the prince aren't allergic to anything well the prince is allergic to birds," Ladybug said, while I just kept quiet eyeing him down to see if there was a change of attitude.

"Well the Prince is going to find it hard to live on ship then cause there are a fair amount of seagulls around especially when we go fishing," Luke replied with and, " I was also wandering if you guys have made a decision on the Captains question?"

"Yes, we have so if you could get her that would be nice," Ladybug said, while giving Luke a trusting smile. "We were also wondering what jobs we will be doing?"

"Well the jobs that you would do is cooking with our chef and for the prince that's up to the Captain and she will give you more details when she comes down. Since you asked me questions I was wondering what is your name?" Luke asked, intrigued like he made a bet and was waiting to see if he got the right answer.

"Well...it's...Um... Ladybug and... uh thanks for the information," Ladybug replied, with uncertainty but her answer seemed to have caused Luke to lose his smiling attitude to a more melancholy look. 

"So, your parents didn't give a normal name either then... Uh," Luke replied, looking at Ladybug with sadness in his eyes and understanding.

"You could say that," Ladybug said, looking at him with a nervous smile on her features and her hand on the back of her neck.

"I think the food will be ready soon so... goodbye Ladybug and Prince Adrian," Luke said, while turning away heading towards the deck.

"Ladybug don't you find it suspicious how Luke acted so deflated when you mentioned your name to him?" I asked, turning  towards her with sharpened gaze.

"Yeah, I did but Chat when the Captain comes in let me do all the talking okay." ladybug said, looking towards me. A determined look on her face and her fist in the air, it surprises me that she can remain so confidant in terrible situations like this.

"Sure, I hope that we can get out of these cells and soon." I replied, with a sigh.

"Agreed," Ladybug responded. I then went to the back of the cell and started to day dream of how the Captain would look in modern day clothing and the finest jewels decorating her from head to toe.

Luke soon came back with the food he promised which was nice knowing that he wasn't a liar and that the Captain feeds her prisoners. (P.S I'm terrible at describing food so the image at the top is what Chat and Ladybug is eating.) As soon as we got the food Luke already left out the door back to the deck without responding to anymore of Ladybugs questions. I began to wonder why he left so quickly when all of a sudden the door was slammed open by non other then the Captain.

"So, Luke told me you made your choice," she said, while walking towards us and what I saw in her eyes terrified me and when I looked to ladybug it seemed to terrify her as well. This lead me to thinking what in the world will happen to us on this ship.
