Adrien's P.O.V

I woke up with sadness still clinging onto my heart and refusing to let go so that I can feel at ease once more, but I can maybe make it up to Gold by looking after her while she's out of commission for the few days she won't be going to work. It's the least I can do for her after she injured herself because of me, I opened a secret door that was hidden behind a closet that almost looked like the closet from Narnia, which linked our rooms together but when I peered inside. 

I opened the door slowly I saw Gold in a simple, white under shirt and black pants. My face suddenly started to feel extraordinarily hot and I started to sweat from how dumb I was being and how rude I was. "Why hello there Adrien." She said, giving me a small, mischievous smile. I gave her a nervous smile as I gathered my courage so that I can slow down my heartbeat which wasn't really working since my mind was travelling faster then normal.

"Hello Gold, shouldn't you be resting?" I asked, while slowly making my way deeper in her room as she was moving around gathering her pirate coat and hat that rested on her desk. I calmed my heart down enough for me to no longer have reddened cheeks and sweat from before.

"Yeah, but I've duties to attend to." Gold replied, placing her coat over her shoulders. I walked up to her and gently grabbed her hand that was laying by her side which caused her to spin around when I saw her features questioning my motives was shown to me. 

"Gold you need rest...this isn't an order but if we are in trouble and your injured we won't be able to keep up our spirits, your the ships motivation." I said, looking into her eyes and giving her a small smile. Hope is the one thing that I would describe her for her passion and how clear her leadership shows when her and her crew are in dangerous situations. It must be difficult to run a ship let alone gain a reputation of a fearsome pirate at such a young age.

"You are correct Adrien, can you get me something to eat and tell Luke that you're going to keep me company till I'm fully healed." Gold said, before limping back to her bed and grabbing a book. She removed her coat and let if fall to the ground as she pulled back the blankets of her made bed, climbing in with no struggle almost like she planned this.

"Sure thing." I say, smiling at her not wanting to question her motives. As I was walking out on deck and I saw Marinette staring out to the ocean, while leaning on the ships railing. "Hey Adrien!" Marinette shouted, before jogging up to me. I felt bad for not spending as much time as I used to when we were set loose to help the crew.

"Uh...hey Marinette." I replied, politely. I'm slightly uncomfortable being around my old crush who was my partner and friend, zoning out I nearly missed her speaking to me. 

"Adrien I was wondering if we should force the captain to take us back to our time?" I stood there shocked at Marinette's harsh words but I snapped out off it pretty fast. I couldn't believe that someone as kind as Marinette would say something like that especially in a interesting situation we are in. As we were talking I slowly made my way to the ships pantry while keeping an eye out for Luke.

"No, we made a deal Mari! Since when do heroes take advantage of people?" I replied, with a stern look no longer holding happiness in my voice. 

"Since it's a perfect opportunity to go back to our time besides pirates don't keep there word." Mari replied, while smirking like a maniac. I could see that I'm no longer talking to my good friend and hero partner I was talking to someone who's desperate and irrational. 

"Mari no, I refuse to be apart of your scheme you cooked up." I say, turning to the pantry to grab Gold an apple and a few other fruit just encase she doesn't like apples.

"Fine!" Mari shouted, her footsteps leaving quickly. I found an apple and Luke telling him of Gold's plan for the day. 

When I made it to Gold's room I heard shouting and the next thing I know something crashes to the ground creating a loud thud to echo down the hallway. I burst into the room and see Gold on the floor in the center of the room, and Mari on top of her struggling to bring down a large knife most likely from the kitchen. Snapping out of the trans I found myself in I ran over to Mari and pushed her off Gold with more force then what I intended to use, Mari staggering to her feet she looked at us dead in the eye before she shouted, "How dare you not send us back! And how dare you try and steal Adrien from me!" Marinette screamed out nothing but a high pitch sound, while looking at Gold with pure hatred and sadness.

"Mari that's enough leave now!" I shouted, standing between her and Gold with a stern look in my eyes. This stunned Mari she dropped the knife before running out leaving me with Gold, I turned to her with concern in my eyes and asked, "You, okay?"

She didn't reply as she stood up and laughed maniacally while saying, "That extra character is dying!" Gold turned sharply to the door and followed the exact path that Marinette took this made her seem like a predator hunting down it's prey. I quickly grabbed her wrist before she was too far from me and forced her to turn and look at me, taking a deep breath I said...
