YOUR P.O.V

Waking before the morning sun could rise to present a new day, where new challenges will arise I began my trek to the crows nest which I've discovered is the best place to see the morning sun. Upon reaching the deck I notice the Prince staring out into the darkness with a longing look which the previous captian had said would always appear on my features as I wait for the sunrise. Giving a small smile at the chance to frighten the Prince I crept behind him and whispered, "Why are you awake so early Adrien?" the prince jumped before spinning around quickly with heavy breathing, and from what I could sense his fast beating heart.

"Captain you startled me," the prince replied, with a deep morning voice which could make quite a few girls squeal just by the sound.

"I never knew it's so easy to sneak up on someone who's a cat based hero." smirking as I reply to the hero.

"Well its not...it's just I was distracted that's all, and to answer your question from before it was to get some fresh air and watch the sunrise." Adrien replied with a slight red colouring on his cheeks that are very well sculpted.

"I see... Welp I'm just used to me being the only one up this early, that and the last time I had someone up here they went for a swim, " I replied, turning around so that Adrien couldn't see how I was trying to hold back the laugh that crept into my throat from his shocked features.

"Well I better go or I'm going to be in trouble when Luke comes to get me for work." Adrien said turning back to the ocean looking off into the distance.

"Well you forgot one little detail dear Adrien." I replied, while my smirk growing and taking a more mischievous look, letting down my walls temporarily to show a more mischievous side of my personality.

"Oh yeah? What did I forget?" Adrien replied with his head slightly tilted as he turned to look at me. 'No wonder the girls fawn over him?'

"Well you are working for me so I'm in charge of when I get you for work," giving a small snicker I saw blush reaching his cheeks again and a small smile growing on his lips from the embarrassment most likely.

"I'm so sorry I forgot!" Adrien replied, panicked as he ran his hands through his golden locks, eyes widen.

"It's fine, just we can't have a prince skipping work even though they aren't really a prince more of a damsel in distress." I said, while placing my pointer finger on his chest, looking him dead in the eye with a mischievous smile.

"Yeah, your right about royalty working and what do you mean damsel in distress captain of the golden spectre?" Adrien said, while slightly grabbing my hand and pulling it closer to his side with his own mischievous smile on his face.

"It's good that you realise that people of royalty need to work, but you really didn't have a choice. The reason why I say damsel is the fact I think you could pull off a dress." I said, while removing my hand, shrugging my shoulders and rolling my eyes to the side.

"So...What work will I be doing today?" Adrien said, before taking a large gulp for some reason I'm not aware of.

"You will be helping me with organising the maps, then I want to see how you fight against me and if your good I will take you to Luke so you can learn how to escape any situation, lastly I will teach you how to steal." I say, while closing my eyes and wrapping my fingers around my chin only to realise that he completely changed the topic with my last comment. I wonder if I should also teach him how to get information through his looks but it could place him in mortal danger since he is the "prince" after all.

"Why do I need to know how to steal?" Asked Adrien, with that damn adorable tilt. I wonder how no one else has discovered who he is yet my goodness.

"Well you see no one likes the royal family or pirates, especially me, so people will try and hold you hostage, and no one is smart enough to do business with pirates or any one who are royalty." I replied, with a blank expression as I turn and look out into the ocean knowing full well of what could always happen...death for me and my crew and I don't wish to know what they will do to prince Adrien if they get their hands on him.

"I see but why don't people like people who are from the royal family or royalty?" Adrien asked, with a sadden expression as he looks out to the sea I call home sweet home.

"That's... *sigh* a story for another time." I said, staring into the deep blue waters wondering what mysteries hide beneath the waves that have sunken many a ship and many a life.

"Okay I'll wait till then my fair captain and I only hope that it won't be too long before I gain this knowledge." Adrien replied, before joining me in looking at the ocean and sky coming together in being bathed with the suns colours and I'm glad he didn't notice my own blush from what he said. I left the prince to himself as I walk down to our pantry, so I can grab an apple before I start the new day that dawned for just the two of us. I'm still not sure why my heart sped up when I saw Adrian, but I'm exited for this day to kick off since I feel as though it's going to be on hell of an interesting day. Oh how I wish to tell you why I kidnapped you in the first place, but I know full well to never tell for he might go rushing into danger to fix a mistake that's been happening for years now.
