ADRIENS P.O.V

After at watching the skies colours melting into one another over the vast I ocean I decide to head to the Captains quarters to prepare for the days first job. On my way towards the fair Captains quarters I had a goofy smile on my face exited to spend the majority of the day spending time with her, seeing how she worked on a daily bases, what tips she could give me on my fighting. I wonder how someone so extravagant would live a life of a fearsome pirate, yet again how can someone who is so justly oriented not try and help those in need even if it meant that she needs to break the law. Finally arriving her head quarters I decided to enter and read some of the maps laying upon her desks that I most likely will be organising when the Captain came back.

~Time Skip~

Heavy steps echo out in the hall way as they start to get louder with every closing step. I continued to read a map of a route of Caribbean sugar shipments when the door of the room was opened roughly, a loud sigh escape the person's lips who was in front of me. I cast my eyes up only to see the wonderfully, gorgeous eyes of the Captain, I froze admiring her. She gave a relieved breath seeing me she opened the door wider and their stood Luke with a panic expression on his face, "See Luke his fine, now leave please. So you've been here the entire time?"

"Yeah. I thought that since my first job is organising the maps, I'll wait for you at your head quarters." I replied seeing relief, maybe in her eyes I'm not sure? While I placed the current map I was reading on her dark oak desk.

"Well Adrien a lot of people, well mainly Luke was worried that someone took you, this morning after our talk," She said, with annoyance.

"Oh! I'm sorry for causing you inconvenience!" I replied quickly, realising that I caused her problems that could've been easily avoided. Why must I always cause the people around me problems maybe that's why Dad doesn't want to talk to me.

"No, it's fine its just Luke is a worry fish, when it comes to the welfare of prisoners since the incident." She said, running a hand through her hair and letting out another deep sigh.

"Do you want me to stay on deck, till your ready or stay in my room?" I asked, looking down at my feet ashamed of my own negligence.

"No you don't have to do that, all you have to do is tell someone, mostly Luke, where you'll be that's all." She replied taking a sigh, placing a hand on my shoulder as a way to comfort me I think.

"Okay. I'll do that next time." I replied, looking back at her with a large smile on my face. I then straighten out my back and look to her with determination in my eyes, eager to see what she will be teaching me.

"That's good now let's get you working." The Captain replied, giving me a small smile before tying her hair up in a ponytail (short haired people don't worry about it), and taking off her Captains hat placing it on her bed.

"Can I ask you something?" I gulped, when looking at her features that are accented by the morning light coming in through the windows.

"Sure." She replied, heading to her shelf full of different kinds of maps. Moving so gracefully it seems as though she is floating not walking and her steps are so quiet you can't hear them on the hardwood floor.

"Can you tell me your name please." I asked, my voice becoming nothing more then a whisper when I was her physically stiffen from what I've said. My hands started to become sweaty as I contemplate whether or not I might've offended her.

"No, you can't know my name but a nickname you can use is gold." She replied slowly relaxing her muscle to what they were before. Gold then went back to what she was doing before the question was asked.

"Okay, but isn't your ship called golden spectre?" I asked with more confidence, looking at her figure in case I do something to cause her to be displeased. After asking her the question I went back to organising the maps in alphabetic order so it would go faster.

"Yeah, that is a small mistake a lot of people make, I'm known as the golden heart of the spectre, but it got lost in translation when docking at a different countries, so people just called my ship the golden spectre." She explained, having a mischievous grin plastered on her face, while she looked off into the distance almost like she's reminiscing over a fond memory. She looks so angelic when she's happily staring off into her memories, she also looks the happiest as well.

"I see." I replied, trying to tame the rapid growing blush on my face. Shaking my head frantically to get rid of my thoughts from before to concentrate on the work I was giving to do.

"Well let's finish of our work now so I can show what's it like to be a fearsome pirate of the Golden Spectre." She replied, causing my face become as bright as a cherry. I brought her the last of the maps in my arms and soon we found ourselves finished with our work, but when we turned to her desk I saw that same shadow figure, that was in my room, (picture) sitting on gold's desk like she was an old friend. "Hi, Future, how is today going to be?" Gold said, with a large smile on her face.

"There is a dark force approaching and their looking for the king to be." After Future said, after  that I froze in place presuming that someone is after me since I'm supposed to be a prince.
