Anyone who faces difficulty in reading Hindi dialogues whose English translation I have missed in my laziness can point it out to me...I ll surely correct it then and there...and help making my story better and catering to a larger group. I know both English and Hindi...so no pblm at all. Thank you.

Arnav Singh Raizada, 27 years old, an atheist, cynical man, non-believer of love and commitment of man-woman type, is owner of AR Group of companies. He lives in Shantivan (Raizada Mansion), Vasant Vihar, Delhi. He loves his sister very much, loves and respects his family too but believes lower class people are unscruplous in general. He is an arrogant man who believes he writes his own destiny, that he has risen up to this position only because of hard-work. He has done MBA from Harvard, Boston and started with AR Designs (a fashion brand) as his first company. His family includes his sister Anjali Jha(a fervent devotee, frequent temple visitor, cares most for her brother and husband), his Nani Devyani Raizada(orthodox but flexible lady, a true matriarch, doesn't fear Arnav like other family members), Mamaji : Manohar Raizada(a chilled out person, supports everyone but doesnt interfere till matters are of dire importance) -Mamiji : Manorama Raizada (fiercely protective of her three kids and family but disrespectful towards  middle class in general. Always decked up, has mania for cosmetics) and their son Akash S R(a cool, calm, shy, well-behaved person and obedient in general. considers his cousins as real elder siblings). There are several Prakash brothers as housekeeping staff of RM and Aman Mathur, Arnav's manager - his Man Friday.

Arnav buys Sheesh Mahal (a palace in Lucknow) in opening scene and throws out the current owner Anurag Malik, his Chacha. Arnav was initially Arnav Malik and Sheesh Mahal is his paternal house where he lived till fourteen years of age. Thirteen years ago[1998], on day of his sister Anjali's wedding, his mother Ratna found about his father Arvind's affair. She immediately shoots herself and his father does the same, leaving both children orphaned. Anjali's(has polio in her left leg) marriage gets cancelled due to this scandal and they are thrown out on streets by their Chacha. His Dadi(Subhadra Malik - a typical patriarchal mindset lady who thinks men have got all rights) leaves home and shifts to an ashram. Arnav's Nani(Devyani Raizada) and Mama-Mami take sister-brother(18 and 14 respectively) with them to Delhi. Whole family work together and they go on to build AR conglomerate from scratch, with Arnav playing the major role with his excellent negotiation skills and business acumen. Family settle back into their normal life but Arnav immerses himself in taking AR to its present glory. After buying back his home SM back from his Chacha's debtors, he organizes a AR Designs fashion show there which is spoiled by Khushi Kumari Gupta, who assumed to be a model, is pushed to the ramp by AR staff. Scared to be on stage amongst thousands of unknown people, she ends up stepping upon her own dupatta, falling into an angry Arnav's arms.

Khushi is a lively and lighthearted traditional but clumsy young girl of 22 years of age, lives in Gomti-Sadan, Lucknow. She loves everyone and her sister the most. She was adopted by her uncle and aunt after her parents are killed in a car crash when she was eight.(Shashi Mausaji- she calls him Babuji. A cool father and heart patient, encourages his daughters in in their pursuits but lives in practical world too. Doesn't care much about society. Garima Mausi - she calls her Amma. Garima is a bit strict mother but loving too, worries for social image of her daughters.  Payal, daughter of Shashi from his late first wife, is a shy woman but doting and mother hen kind of sister to Khushi). Due to sudden increased dowry demand on her sister Payal's wedding day, Khushi ends up causing a stir at a fashion show conducted at Sheesh Mahal [where Payal's groom lives on rent]. Arnav refuses to believe her story of coming here to meet sister's groom, dowry, sister's marriage and all. He accuses her of spoiling his show at behest of his rivals for money. He breaks her blouse dori in their arguments, a clear case of misbehavior just to intimidate her when she rebukes him for insulting her. Payal's marriage is cancelled as Khushi had dowry papers and she failed to reach home in time, thanks to Arnav.
