Hayley hadn't been pushing Coley to open up about what was bugging her lately. They decided to meet up at Coley's house after school today, and they'd talk about everything. Hayley reassured her that there was no pressure. Coley appreciated it, even though she couldn't help but feel a little pressure.

Once they got to their house, Coley could hear the giggles coming from the living room and held in a sigh. Were they always here? She told Hayley to wait for her in her room and made her way to the living room.

"Trenton, can we talk for a sec?" She asked, without looking at the pair.

Trenton looked up, only noticing she was there when she started to talk. She heard him mumble something that had to be a "Sure".

Once Trenton made his way to her, and they were far enough away from Sonya, Coley started speaking in a whispered voice.

"Weren't you going to Billy's today?" Billy was the person Trenton assaulted a while ago. Trenton told her they talked about her too whenever he was there. Billy couldn't wait to meet her, and they were planning for that to actually happen. Coley wanted to be there for her brother and also do whatever she could for the guy her brother put in a wheelchair.

"Yeah, I'm heading out soon, why?"

"Is she coming with you?" Coley asked, referring to Sonya.

"I thought she could just stay here until I got back."

Coley almost rolled her eyes, but restrained herself.

Coley put both her hands together softly and put a wide, fake smile on her face. "Perfect! Let us know when you're leaving, so we can keep her company." Coley stopped whispering, so the girl they were talking about could hear her loud and clear. She smiled at Sonya shortly, before leaving to go to her room and talk to Hayley.

"I hate them." Coley breathed out as soon as she was in her room and closed the door behind her.

"What? Were they fucking on your couch or something?"

"Nearly, but that's the usual."

"Trenton's going out soon, so we'll need to babysit Sonya."

Hayley raised an eyebrow and crossed her legs, while sitting on Coley's bed.

"I honestly don't get why you hate her so much, she seems cool to me."

"Could you be on my side for once?"

Hayley raised her arms in the air, as if Coley was holding a gun pointed at her.

"I didn't realize there were sides already."

Coley sighed and took a seat next to Hayley, pressing her forehead against her shoulder.

"Have you made a move on Rowan yet?" Coley tried to change the subject and looked up at the girl, while resting her chin on her shoulder now.

"No." She replied instantly. "Have you made a move on your mystery girl yet?"

Coley sighed softly and lifted her head from Hayley's shoulder. The mystery girl Hayley was talking about, was probably sucking off her brother's face in the living room at the moment.

"She has a boyfriend." Coley admitted and looked at Hayley expectantly.

Hayley pursed her lips at the new information about the girl. She seemed to be thinking very deeply.
