It's been 2 years now, since Alex has left me.
Two long, miserable years.
But, two long amazing years as well. I learned Braille, learned sign language, and helped in hospitals everyday after the Avalanche.
Two years of waiting...
We're finally over.

"Alex...?" I lean over. I see him. ALEX!
"Hey...." He says shyly.
"Um are you lost?" I ask.
"No, I'm here to see you."
But I know he's not.
Wait.
Is he...?
I smile at him, my heart pounding, my words at loss.
He comes closer..
And closer...
And closer......
And then-
My toes are finally at use.
Because Alex's lips had grown a lot taller.
