A leaders job - Risks worth taking

Chooki laughed loudly, as if he was entertained by his own power. Within his eyesockets glowing red dots filled in as eyes. He walked around slowly, looking for his prey. Meanwhile Gen and Maggy were hiding in her room. Her wardrobe against the door and her bed on its side hiding them from the door. They knew since Guren was the one who called them, it was more than likely him that would be the one who was coming to help.

And they were right as they coward Guren was on his way. He didn't want his dad to worry anymore than he was, so he lied, saying he was going to bed then snuck out. Max by his side.

Gen was feeling pretty useless at this point. Having been saved from Ceylan, and now hiding from Chooki. Two people he knows he can take on separately. Chooki made his way up stairs stomping a few times as to remind them he was there and searching for them. Maggy was visibly sweating with fear in her eyes.

"We'll have to hold him off." Maggy whispered

"No. He's using his powers. He'll kill you." Gen whispered back

Maggy went to say something but right before she could the bedroom door was blasted off it's hinges and the wardrobe destroyed. Chooki entered and scanned over the arwa. Then went right for the the bed. Gen finally fed up with being a sitting duck, decided to retaliate. He hugged Maggy starting a whirlwind only stong enough only to effect their house. The roof broke a part the floor beaking up. Maggy looked around confused on how she was breathing without a problem. Chooki was pushed back pretty hard. But not hard enough.

"A whirlwind. How cute!!" Chooki laughed psychotically

Strikes of lighting started started coming down. Gen sheilded Maggy taking every strike. This only made him make the whirlwind stronger. Suddenly the stikes stopped and Chooki screamed in pain. Guren had arrived and he was ready to fight. Chooki now having been blasted in the back with fire stopped attacking.

"You really made a mess of things." Guren said keeping a serious face

Chooki turned, a smile on his face, the dots in his sockets a darker shade of red. Suddenly a flash from another strike blinded Guren. Chooki tackled and pinned him, and began electrocuting him. Guren growled in pain. He closed his eyes. The image of his dad smiling appeared in mind, then the image of him broken down down and crying. The promise made rang through the memory.

Guren let out a scream as tears fell from his eyes. An engery wave cancelled Gen's whirlwind and flames surrounded Guren's body. Chooki tried to get away but Guren grabbed his face, digging his fingers into his eye sockets. Pulling him down and forcing him to eadure the intense heat. The eyeless male screamed, burns beginning to bloom, blood flowing from his eye sockets.

"I promised! I'll protect those who need it! I'll crush anyone who tries to stop me! I'll bring back the broken! I won't go down easily! I'll never stop! I'll never back away! I! AM! A! LEADER!!" Guren yelled

No sooner did he yell those words did an energy explosion occurre. The light from the blast reached over a lot of Beham city. And alerted someone to the the fight that just ended.

Maggy, who had closed her eyes before the explosion, reopened her eyes. Gen was in front of her levitating cars and parts of the sidewalk. He stopped levitating the items and passed out. Luckily Maggy caught him. He wasn't very hurt, even the lightning strikes seemed to do little damage. Maggy picked Gen up holding him close and looked around.

Her house was destroyed, a few fire here and there.

Guren was holding Chooki who was unconscious. Having one of the eyeless male's arms over his shoulder and holding him up, Guren walked to the sidewalk that was partially destroyed. Maggy also walked to the sidewalk. Soon idida and Liela ran to them from across the street having escaped before the destruction. Maggy sat down with her puppies and her unconscious son.

"I'm sorry about your house, Maggy." Guren apologized

"It's alright none of my valuables were lost." She smiled as the puppies barked happily

Then a car made a sharp stop in front the destroyed house. Mr. Nash exited the car and went straight to Guren who set Chooki down gently. Mr. Nash look over Guren trying to see any injuries.

"You said be more careful. And I tried..." Guren said tears falling from his eyes

Mr. Nash picked him up hugging him. Guren broke down sobbing into his father's shoulder.

"It's alright. You did what had to do. It was gave me a scare. But your barely hurt. That's want I'm gratful for right now." Mr. Nash said

Guren began calming down and Chooki woke up.

"Ugh, I never wanna lose control like that again." Chooki said weakly holding his head and side

Mr. Nash put Guren down, and Guren helped Chooki to his feet. They all went back to the Nash's house. Chooki decided to stay the night to wrap his head around what happened. And Gen, Idida, Liela and Maggy... Well their home was gone. They couldn't do anything about it at that point. So they were going to stay with the Nash's until they thought of something else.

Guren ended falling asleep on the way there. It didn't take long but, he was very tired and needed to rest. And tho the problem was not yet solved, it was peaceful moments like this that made them feel more at ease.
