A 28 year old resident of the city of dreams, Mumbai. The only son of Aarav and Nyonica Malhotra. He is a elder brother to Meisha Malhotra. Lives with his paternal cousin Cabir in a penthouse apartment in the city. Working with Cabir in a joint venture of theirs since they finished their MBA from Mumbai University.

Nandini Murthy(Female protagonist)
A 28 year old doctor from New York. A younger sibling to Abhimanyu Murthy. She lost her parents when she was in high school and as a result she had to relocate from India to NYC with her uncle and aunt. Lives with her bestfriend from college, Avidaan Malhotra, as a roomate.

A 28 year old friend of Nandini. Met her at the medical school of NYC. They share an apartment together. He is a cousin of Manik, Meisha and Cabir.

Cabir Dhawan
A 28 year old paternal cousin of Manik. He is Manik's best friend and lives with him in Mumbai in a penthouse apartment. His father divorced his mother when he was barely two years old and this doesn't speak to him and his mother passed away during his college years she since then Manik has always been with him.
