"Nandini, I am sorry but I really want to stay the sensible old lady of the two of us and support whatever my son wishes to do with his life and his girlfriend so it's best if we do not discuss this. I have decided and it is for the better if we maintain this distance between us unless you actually become a part of our family. It's been my fault that I started to behave like you're already my son's wife which clearly you're not so I am going to save this side of mine for whoever is going to become the definite daughter-in-law of the Malhotra's. Nandini would be lying if she said that didn't hurt cause it did and also a lot compared to something she had prepared herself for. Nyonica said those to her face, while at the entrance, and walked away when she was leaving to start her journey with Manik to their new abode and Manik was loading up their leftover luggage to his car's trunk.

Nandini's return back to Malhotra's residence wasn't certainly a party as it unfolded a lot of drama for the couple. Adding on to that Nandini even caught that Manik isn't entirely convinced in moving out this way when the family isn't supporting them. Despite how much they fought with each other, the bottom line always remained that she knew him the best of all. She read him and thus she wanted to do things that made him happy but then she did not get a genuine opportunity to undo her decision and not even in some sort of disguised manner as well. And, now, 15 days later here they were moving out to a new place that they chose to rent at a 10 minutes distance from this place.

As Nyonica cleared the space, Nandini gave her way a look filled with longing before turning away back to the exit. She closed her eyes and let out a sigh of determination. She needed to focus on fixing the one biggest thing, that remained in her life, Manik and herself, and make it so good that it'd become enough for her to have a meaning for the rest of her life.
