“I don't understand. You wanted this in the first place and now you're asking me to postpone talking to mom and dad about this. Why did you stop me when I was about to talk to them downstairs?” Manik questioned with a little frustration lacing his tone as Nandini's behaviour was only confusing him.
A little while ago, Aarav, Nyonica and Meisha returned from their trip and when they got settled to have dinner after freshening up, Manik decided to talk about moving out at that time but Nandini stopped him by gesturing in a no.
Now, when they entered their room after all of them called it a day, Manik spoke up to her.
“I stopped you because they've come just today and I thought we shouldn't just snowball things at them. Plus, I'm leaving for my medical camp tomorrow and I'd be gone for atleast one week so why not talk to them when I come back?” Nandini replied, removing her earrings to place them on the dressing table. Manik heard and instantly cooled down as she was totally correct and this way he could maybe slowly slip it to their family to avoid a little bit of the drama.
“That's fair enough. Smart!” he commented slumping on the bed while she picked out their nightwear for them from the closet.
“I'm always smart, my Hulk.” she remarked before stepping into the washroom to take a warm shower before the bed while he nodded smilingly and then decided to use the shower in the guestroom in the meantime.

Six days later....Nandini and her team were wrapping up their work at their campsite in the village called Shoolagiri were they had been residing since the last five days. The cottage they were allotted was very close to the camp at a hill site.
“Here, Dr Rithwik. This file of my patients is complete. I have to go and rest now, it's really been a long day.” she expressed handing over the file to him as she was tired to another level and if let her she may fall asleep there itself like a log. They were supposed to report at the camp everyday at 6 in the morning and retire at almost 11 in the night after that dinner, shower would push the sleeping time to 1 which meant only four hours of sleep.
“Call me Rithwik, Nandini. And yeah, you can go and sleep now the bus to Bangalore will be at the gate by 7 as the flight is at 12 noon.” Rithwik said and she nodded with a lethargic smile making him shake his head at her.
In the span of these five days, Rithwik and Nandini had become good friends. Nandini never really made friends quickly but this guy had a vibe that no one can resist and thus even she ended up accepting his friendship wholeheartedly. She liked his nature of being funny, helping and noble to everyone around him and he liked the way she was at everything altogether.
Nandini reached the cottage and went straight to her room. She did not feel like eating so the plan was to change and then crash on the bed.
She took a shower and slipped herself into a plain simple kurti and leggings. Just when she was about to lie down someone knocked at her door. She groaned at that and made her way to get the door just to find Rithwik in an white and white outfit at the door with a tray in his hands. Nandini was surprised at the sight as he looked nothing less than a bellboy. She chuckled lightly making him scrutinize his gaze at her.
