"I don't fucking care if he's on a fucking date... No - tell him - get him here now! I don't give a shit! No my sister is in danger and I'm not waiting any longer... Well tell him to fucking cancel! No! That's it! Thats final... Goodbye!" Mikey slams his phone down on the coffee table and let out a frustrated scream.

"Mikey, honey, calm down. It's okay she's safe for now. We'll sort this out." Melissa comforted, whilst rubbing Mikey's back soothingly.

I sat on the sofa, staring off into space knowing that if I didn't do something all of these threats would become reality.

"Mikey don't worry about me I can take care of myself. I did when he took me last time didn't I?" I said with a sharp edge to my voice. Watching Mikey flinch, I immediately regretted my harsh words.

"I'm sorr-"

"Don't worry about it" He gave me sad smile, "I'm just not completely over it yet. I still blame myself for it."

I never got a chance to reply because the front door slammed open and smashed into the wall.

"What the fuck did you want?" A surprisingly angry Alpha Black stood in the doorway.

'Oh what's Mikey done now?' My wolf sighed smugly.

"You made me cancel my fucking date!" Well at least we know what he did. "I was hoping to get laid tonight." Okay ew.

Oh and if you're wondering why Alpha Black is only a few years older than Mikey. Well Cole's father, the old Alpha, died suddenly of an unknown cause a few years ago. We're not allowed to speak about it towards Alpha Black, because for him it's still a sensitive subject.

"My sister is being threatened by her obsessive, meant-to-be-dead best friend, and you're complaining you're not going to get laid?" Mikey shouted.

"Stand down Mikey." Alpha Black growled through his teeth.

"No, I won't fucking stand down when my baby sister is in danger!" Mikey's snappy tone just fuelled Alpha Blacks anger further.

Both mens' bodies' began to shake, making me and Melissa aware they were going to shift.

"MIKEY! Calm down!" Melissa yelled but it was too late the men had both shifted into their wolves and were fighting violently, trying to get the other to submit.

Dammit!
