Around two hours later I decided to pay Brandon a visit. Really, I was just going to make sure that Brandon wasn't lying.

On the way there I wasn't paying attention to the road and almost drifted into the oncoming cars. Trust me, I've never been so scared in my life. After my little incident I decided to concentrate on driving instead of letting my thoughts drift.

It took longer than I had first calculated to get to the Kaylers' house as it was dark before I got there.

When I finally did arrive, it felt as though someone was watching me although me being the naïve little girl I was didn't think anything of it.

Oh how stupid I was!

I'd completely forgotten about the guards that patrol the borders of the territory. They didn't know I was coming. Cone to think of it I hadn't told anyone I was leaving or coming here. Stupid!

'You stupid girl! now the guards are gonna attack us thinking we're a Rouge. You dumb shit!' My wolf wailed painfully only head.

'Oh hush up! You were the one who forgot to warn me! You're as much as to blame as I am!' Thankfully that last comment got her to shut up.

Turns out whilst I was having that internal battle with my wolf, the guards had emerged from the tree line surrounding the house.

A jolt of panic struck through me. What the hell was I going to do against five huge, muscled guys?

"What are you doing here Rouge?" The scariest guy there snarled at me.

"I'm not a Rouge." I snapped back, a sudden surge of confidence flowing through me.

"Then what are you then sweetheart?" The least scary one said, his voice laced with sarcasm.

"Well lets just say... mess with her, you mess with me." The male voice came from behind me.

"Yes, Master Brandon." The guards replied.

So my saviour was Brandon.
