I was sat in the ambulance with my head in my hands. all i can frickin hear is that god damn 'nee-naw' sound. Mum was on her way to the hospital so apparently i should stay 'nice and calm.' God nurses know nothing. well other than the medical stuff. i jolted forward as we stopped.
"Ok steady now nice and gentle."
i didnt even hear them open the doors or moving the strecher!
"Follow us please, Pippa."
i was walking hurridely behind a load of people in torquoise outfits. they kept on turning corners swiftly left and right it was hard to catch up. it was like the parting of the red sea everyone just vanishing from when we came into veiw.
suddenly they vanished into a door on the left and slammed it in my face. i stood there for several moments then slumped on to a plastic chair nearest me.
"Oh thank God Pippa!" I looked up, mum was bright red in the face. She sat next to me and breathed out heavily.
"Mum!" We sat there hugging for several seconds.
"Well then, what the hell happened to her?!"
"I don't know she just keeled over on the floor!"
"oh God i hope shes ok!!" then we sat in silence until a man came out and said Mum could go in and see Paris.
So then i was left alone again in the corridor. For ages. and ages and ages and ages and A-G-E-S. Yeah you get my point i was there for a while. it was 10 past 5 now and i was pretty sure we werent going out for dinner tonight.
"Pippa?"
i looked up again, it was Luke this time he wasnt red in the face but he looked really nervous. like his eyes were almost twitching. he sat next to me, we didnt hug. he ran his hands through his hair.
"Do you know anything?"
"No. they just left me out here."
"Well that sucks."
I nodded and we sat in silence again. Awkwardness filled every square inch of the space we were sat i wanted to yell. More than anything else though i wanted him to reassure me that Paris would be ok. He barely knew Paris ok so he was nice to her and yes alright she was carrying their child but all in all he knew nothing. i needed telling she was ok but he still sat there staring at the door. which (right on cue) suddenly swung open.
"You can go in now Luke."
It was Mum. Right so the blood relative goes last now huh?
"Pip?" I looked up at her.
"Theres something wrong with the Baby."
OKAY SORRY ABOUT THE LONG WAIT NOT TOO SURE WHY I HAVENT BEEN WRITING! OH WELL ILL TRY AND UPLOAD MORE OFTEN AGAIN! :)
