"We should just leave them be, besides if Sean doesn't want to ask her out he's probably not ready and she's clearly not ready so let's just drop it," Julian said as Kaycee smiled that he was on her side while Bailey just nodded "Let's make it natural and not interfere too much"

"Alright I'll drop it," Bailey said as she continued to eat "I just think laying the groundwork is important because you never know what will happen in between"

"Let's just worry about this later," Kaycee said as they all agreed

The rest of night went well, they did another round of bowling Josh and Kaycee drove everyone home

And after a long night and still having school tomorrow Kaycee finally got home and went to bed

Kaycee's House

"You ok sis?" Kylie Kaycee's sister said noticing her sister under the covers "You have fun bowling?"

"Yes," Kaycee said in a neutral tone

"What happened?" Kylie said sitting on the edge of Kaycee's bed and removing the blanket

"...Gabe and I broke up" Kaycee said as Kylie sees the tears rolling down her face

"Oh Kay," Kylie said giving her little sister a hug as she cried out all the emotions she has been holding in all day "Just let it all out"

Tuesday Morning

Kaycee walked into the school in much better spirits, she got a good night sleep, cried out almost all her problems to her sister and was genuinely looking forward to the day

"Good morning Joshua!" Kaycee said to her next-door locker neighbor mate

"Uh Good morning Kayc," Josh said confused by her positive attitude "You ok?"

"Never better!" Kaycee said as she started to collect her books and such

"Okay..." Josh said, "Anyways I'm walking to Tahani and Sean's lockers want to join me or just see you in class?"

"You got to see your girlfriend!" Kaycee said in a sing-song voice

"It's still weird to call her that" Josh commented "But yeah"

"Yeah, I'll join you," Kaycee said as they started walking "Thanks again for distracting Tahani from Sean"

"It's no problem if anything it minimizes any problems as a problem between Tahani and me is less of a problem if it was you Tahani and Sean," Josh said "Besides Tahani's cute so it's not like it was a huge struggle"

"Should I start looking for a new man for Tahani as you're just being a distraction?" Kaycee said "Or should I let you two love birds be"

"You have jokes today" Josh commented as Kaycee just smiled "You can do whatever you want"

"What's up dudes," Julian said catching up with them

"Hey bro" Josh greeted his best friend
