5 years later
"Lucy come down stairs" I yell for our 5 year old daughter
"Coming mommy" she says and I giggle
"It's your first day of school. Are you excited. This is a big girl step" I say
"Yes mommy. I am ready to learn" she says and Tobias walks into the kitchen where we are and grabs a cup of coffee.
"Daddy my first day of kindergarten is today" Lucy says to her father with excitement.
"I know princess. Daddy is coming with you and mommy to drop you off at school today so no boys get near you" Tobias says to her and I sigh.
"Oh Tobias stop" I say and he wraps a arm around my waist and rest a hand on my butt.
"That's not what you were saying last night" he whispers to me, kissing my cheek. I giggle and push him away.
"Okay missy lets get in the car so daddy can lock the house up and feed Timmy" I say grabbing our daughters hand and walking us outside to the car. Timmy is our dog.
It's going to be so hard watching our little girl go. Lucy is perfect but there's not a day that goes by that Tobias and I don't think of Liam. He will forever be in our hearts and we have become closer because of him.
Tobias and I have been happily married for almost 5 years now and I'm so excited for what the future holds for us.
