"He may look like a teenage guy but he's 50."

"WHAT?!"

"Close your mouth, Elena." You're still staring at dad with your mouth open."Damn, he's so old. He might get called pedophile though..." You said and your dad laughed. "You're right but, he ain't human."

"What are you two talking about? Wait, did you told my daughter that I fell from the stairs yesterday... Sorry, my husband?" You can see your dad is trying to keep that serious face of his. But, he lost it when you let out a laugh. "I can't believe you!" Your mum said and slammed the door. "Oh god, not again..."

"Dad. How can stay with her after all these years? It's been like 10 years both of you are together...." You said.

Your dad only laughed at you and "When you love someone, you don't care about other things. All you think is you want to be by someone's side whether at your highs or your lows. There's no in between... What I like the most about your mum is she's so sassy."

Its crazy how everything reminds you of him. You try to stop thinking bout him but, nope. Guess he's going to stuck in your mind and probably lives there.

"Dad? I wonder if Harris can come and stay over to our house??" You asked. "Sure. I always want to meet that Harris guy but, I don't have a luck... I'm glad that I've 2 sons."

"Yes. And 1 daughter and it's awful."

"Hey, at least you've your mum. Don't say that! It's a blessing to have one lovely daughter... It's truly a blessing, sweetie." He said.

Your dad always busy and this is the first time you get to have a conversation with him. You enjoy every quality time you spent with your family. It's still your favorite thing to do. You've got another new person that's important in your life but that doesn't stop you from spending your time with your loved ones.

"I know, I know. I'm just happy that you accept him and called Harris your son. I honestly thought you had this sorta, revenge with Harris's dad..."

"Honey, it was your mum's past. I'm no one to judge her because she's got pregnant before I met her.... She was so young back then. Young love, I bet that everyone is going to go through that phase before meeting the love of their life. Their soul mate. But, you, you don't have to went through those heart breaks. I kept telling you to date someone but you never did. How stubborn.. "He added.

"I got that from you." You winked.

"Yes, and how's Harlyn? Are you really, like, uh, serious about him?" You know he's going to ask you this but you came prepared. "I'm not sure. But, he seems serious. I think I'm going to give him a chance."

"Belive me or not, he went through a lot of date but none of them ended up with him. I can say, most of the girls, they're pretty but he pass. He even like asked his dad to make sure the girl he date hates him and leave him instead." You don't know whether to feel bad for the girls or thinking how weird this guy is."Seriously? He's 50. Oh my god, probably he dated like thousands of girls or women."

"I bet he did. But, he's got his eyes on you. And he take you on date and, you're special to him. I hope, he will not going to break your heart. Or I'm going to be that protective dad and punch him..."
