Xara's POV.

My entire being tensed the moment I heard notes of horror in Romeo's voice. It was an instinct now. Whenever he sounded like this - not just scared, but horrified - it was surely bad. And it definitely required my help.

My eyes snapped towards my roommate. He was staring at the horison, his eyes wide with terror and his body as tense as it could be. He wasn't blinking - another sign that something was definitely wrong. I followed his gaze, and for a moment tried to remember what those clouds could mean. Dark, darker than usual, they were bringing some specific scent with them, something fresh and clean.

Wait... I gulped and slowly stood up, my heart skipping a beat at the sight of something I had almost forgotten ever existed. The wind came from West, the place where the clouds were, and I again caught that fresh scent of water and purity and nature...

- Rain clouds! - I yelped, watching as the darkness inside the clouds grew darker and darker the closer the were getting to us. Rain! Oh my, how I missed it! That wonder of nature, when water falls down from the sky and the wind plays with your hair as you just stay there and laugh, and the world all around you is frozen, and there's just you and clouds and water and wind...

- Y-yes. - Romeo whispered, and when I glanced at him again, I saw none of that thrill that was swirling inside my body. No. Romeo was terrified - but why? Rain had always been his favorite weather! Mine too, but I was sure he always loved it as well, especially thunderstorms. So what was going on now? Why wasn't he happy and cheerful the way he was supposed to be?

- What is it? - I rubbed my forehead and folded my arms. We better not get back to that state of his mind, or I might not be able to ever pull him out of it. - What's wrong?
The redhead shook his head slightly, yet I saw true and unhidden worry in his gaze. But rain was just water falling from the sky, like a cold shower! Surely it was nothing dangerous, so why-

Oh no.

Rage growled inside me as I carefully turned Romeo's head so that his eyes stared into mine. I had to know the truth on this one. If my thoughts were correct, then... I-I don't even know what I would do!
