Lotor and Lance hid behind a tree, holding their breath. Lotor could feel Lance's rapid heartbeat near his arm.
"What is that?" Lance whispered.
Lotor looked out and then stared into Lance's eyes.
"The purple tiger, part of Voltron's 2nd form." Lotor whispered back.
He watched as Lance slowly took in the information.
"Voltron had a back up form this whole time? Why is it purple? Black wasn't purple!" Lance yelled.
Lotor glared at Lance meaningfully. By now team Voltron has stealthily joined them behind other trees nearby. The purple tiger walked closer to the tree. With a few scratches, it snapped the tree into tiny little woodshavings. The tiger grabbed Lance in it's powerful metal paws.
Once Lance was being held captive, Team Voltron sprung into action, except for Lotor. He repositioned himself behind another tree that had a perfect view of the battle against the purple tiger. Allura backed away from the fight and hid behind a tall tree near Lotor.
"What are we going to do?" Allura mouthed at Lotor.
Sorry this part of the chapter was short, I had lots of ideas for future chapters flooding me!
