Lance ran into his room and instantly locked the door behind him. After all, who would want to see what his pain was being caused by. He careful pulled the glove part of his armour off of his left hand without ripping it. Once sighting his problem, he gasped.

On the back of his left hand, there was a small love heart. It was sky blue on the left and faded into a ruby red on the right. Lance knew what this mark meant. It meant he had a soulmate. His match was finally met at last. But that had to mean he had met his soulmate, right? Lance's mind flicked onto the only red-lover on the Castleship, Keith. It had to be, even if it was weird, he hadn't met anybody had a significant connection with the colour (and tiger), Red.

Lance found a book under his bed that was titled 'Soulmate Facts'. It sounded weird, but it would help. Flicking open the book, he read for a while. Lance was correct about the mark appearing when you meet your soulmate. The book mentioned that soulmates sense each other's emotions and can feel them. It also mentioned that if the bond is strong enough, soulmates can send messages to each other by concentrating hard and using the heart.

It sounded pretty cool. Weird, but cool.

Allura entered her room. It was bigger than all the other paladin's & others rooms. The wall were the same pearly white as all of the castle. She stared down at her right hand. There was a heart on the back of her hand. It was pale pink on the right and faded into a lilac purple on the left.

Hmm... It's purple. Probably Lotor, Allura thought

Correct, Purple commented

Being a space princess, she already knew the what a soulmate bond could be capable of. Her thoughts stopped as emotions flooded through. She felt uneasy, and the walls felt a lot... closer. She tried to shrug it off, but it wouldn't go away. Allura realised it must be apart of her bond. No doubt Lotor wasn't just at his empire for a long time.

Keith went towards his room, pain inflicting in his left hand. He couldn't bother keep walking, so he just looked out the front of Lance's room. He had a soulmate heart on the back of his right hand. It was ruby red and faded into a sky blue

Ha, good luck with that. Red and Blue snickered

"Lance, you've got to be kidding me!" Keith complained.

The door opened  and Keith fell backwards. Right into Lance's arms. Both of them blushed awkwardly.

"Uh, Sorry?" Lance apologised.

"Yeah." Keith muttered, standing up.

Lance noticed Keith's soulmate mark. It was the same as Lance's only the sky blue was on the right and the ruby red was on the left on Keith's, and his was on his left hand as well(P.Sfor men it's on the left, for women it's on the right).

"So you're my soulmate?" Lance awkwardly stated.

"I guess so." Keith responded. There was no romance between the two, yet. Perhaps they hoped there would be some day. Although it was a weird thought. Keith was so certain Lance was into some one else. His theory was incorrect, clearly.

They both blushed and returned to the main room, chatting about their lives as if it was the most casual thing in the universe.
