~Eren, Pixis, Bertholdt~

*Bertholdt's POV*

"So Corporal, how do you think we can use Eren's Titan ability?" Pixis asked.

"Well,Eren exhibited extreme strength while in his Titan form. I propose that Eren should be able to pick up the boulder near the wall and plug the hole that the Colossal Titan made." I said.

"My bad Eren..." I thought to myself.

"Umm....H-Heichou?" Eren said warily.

"Eren I know what you're thinking, but you can do this." I said with an encouraging smile.

"Yeager, can you do this?" Pixis asked.

"Umm....well, I don't really know sir." Eren admitted.

"Forgive me, I asked you the wrong question. Will you plug that hole?" Pixis asked again.

Eren looked out at what was left of Trost District.

"I will. I don't know if I can, but somehow I will!" Eren decided.

I put a hand on Eren's shoulder.

"Now that's the Eren I know!" I said.

"Well then, let's show the rest of the soldiers that optimism." Pixis suggested.

"Agreed." I said.

*Christa's POV*

"This is hopeless...we're all cattle...being sent in for slaughter...we're all gonna die..." Dak whined.

"Get a hold of yourself Daz, stop bawling!" Jean yelled.

"Jean leave him alone! We're all terrified here!" I yelled.

I knelt down.

"It's alright Dak, everything will be ok." I said as I tried to console him.

"What the...why are you wearing Survey Corps gear?" Jean asked.

"I, Bertholdt, Reiner, Marco, And Hannah were promoted to Scouts. Bertholdt's a Lance Corporal." I said with a proud smile.

"I need to get out more." Jean joked.

"If you joined the Survey Corps with us you would." I joked back.

"But the time to enlist yet hasn't even come yet." Jean said.

"I know, I'm just making sure you're still going to join up when the time comes." I said with a smirk.

"ATTENTION!!!!!" We heard Pixis yell from atop the wall as we all stopped and looked.

*No One's POV*

"Allow me to introduce myself! I am Commander Dot Pixis of the Engineering Corps!" Pixis introduced himself.

"Is that Eren and Bertie up there?" Christa asked.

"You know...I'm really surprised he hasn't made you stop calling him that." Jean pointed out.

"I wish she wouldn't call me Bertie at least during combat operations" Bertholdt thought to himself.

"First and foremost, I would like to answer a four year old question! The original mission to retake Wall Maria was disguised as a Military Operation! This was nothing more than a purge! A sick attempt at population control!" Pixis revealed.

"I knew it! Cattle! We're all gonna die!" Dak screamed as he tried to run.

Jean caught Dak.

"Oh no you don't!" He exclaimed.
