• Joe's pov •

"You ready Jack?" I said as I buckled my seatbelt in and got ready to drive the long road to Brighton.
"Sure babe, a little nervous but still, as long as I have you." Jack said, resting his hand on my thigh. We were going to my sister's house to stay the weekend. The thing is, she didn't know about me going out with Jack or even me being gay at all! We were planning to open up slowly then going in for a kiss in front of Zoe and Alfie. I just hoped that they'd accept us.

"I gotta get used to not holding your hand or actually saying your name rather than babe." Jack laughed, I got where he was coming from. We would call each other babe all the time and never let go of each other's hands, this was gonna be hard.

It had been half an hour and Jack decided to take control of the music, putting on our song.
"People say we shouldn't be together
We're too young to know about forever" Jack sang, placing his hand on mine as I drove. "But I say they don't know what they talk, talk, talkin' about"

So I don't wanna wait any longer" I squeezed Jack's hand a little tighter as I sang. "I just wanna tell the world that you're mine boy."

We had that song just playing on repeat as we drove through the streets of Brighton, singing every word with passion. It was cute when Jack sang, it was like he was sharing a secret with me that he hadn't told anyone else. He didn't need auto tune or even a microphone, he just needed his voice and the right song and it would be perfect.
Then I realised, we had arrived at Zoe's. Now the panic kicked in.

"Joe, just calm down. Breathe and smile! Look at me, it'll be ok." I heard a voice say as I blocked out everything but the boy the voice came from. I smiled, "I'm fine, well I will be soon when we're out there. I love you Jack, you know that right?"
"Of course I bloody know that! I love you too Joe Sugg."
And with that, we jumped out the car, grabbed our bags and knocked on the door.

"Omg Joe! Jack! So glad you're here, come in!" Hugs were shared as we stumbled into the hallway. Alfie smiled at us and said hi, taking our bags from us and putting them in the spare bedroom.
"Now sit down boys! I've got some fun stuff planned! First we're gonna eat something because I'm starving, then we're gonna play some games and watch tv. I've also got a little surprise later for us all, hope you'll feel welcome Jack." Zoe said as we all sat down on her sofa. Jack nodded and stopped himself from reaching for my hand.

We ate a lot that night but it was fine because we were all really hungry. Alfie brought out his tightrope and we all had a go at it, I fell over quite a few times. Zoe was surprising good at it and Jack had one go and fell straight on his arse. Good video to show everyone back in London though, the boys will go crazy for it!
"Right boys, I'm gonna get changed for the surprise. You might wanna put something warmer on as it involves going outside. Meet you in the hallway!" My sister said as she marched upstairs, leaving me, Jack and Alfie sat in the living room.

Suddenly an idea came to my head, I texted Jack straight away.
Me - can we tell Alfie first then Zoe?? Make Alfie keep a secret for a bit then show Zoe?? It'll be fun... Xxx
Jack looked at me and smirked, moving closer to me. He leaned in and kissed my cheek lightly, keeping it light so that later we could surprise them both. Then he placed his head in the crease of my neck, cuddling in closer.
"Fuck wow, first of all - You're cute. Second - when did this happen???" Alfie looked ya, shocked yet he was smiling a lot.
"Been with this nutter for nearly a solid year." I smiled, ruffling Jack's hair. Alfie became a fan girl for a moment, looking excited and pleased.
"Can I just say that I've always shipped you two!" We all laughed at this, trying not to be too loud as Zoe was still upstairs though.

After a change of clothes and another talk with Alfie, we all met in the hallway and were ready for what ever Zoe had planned.
"Ok, you might kill me for dragging you out so late but... we're off to the beach for a cute little midnight walk! Exciting?!" My sister was jumping up and down like an excited toddler. I laughed and looked at Jack. He winked and gestured to walk on.

We got to the beach and stood there, admiring the view. The moonlight reflecting off of the Black Sea. The pebbles glistening in the dim light and the stars twinkling in the night sky.
"This is fucking beautiful..." Jack muttered.
"I know right, it's cute. Wanna walk to the nearest band stand?" Zoe quietly asked, trying not to disturb the peace that had suddenly over come us. I nodded and we began walking, taking in the sights as we stepped carefully over the wet pebbles. Spotting a stand on the side, I pointed and ran for it, Jack following closely behind leaving Zalfie to slowly make their way up to us.

I sat down on the bench and stared off into the night.
"You look perfect just sat there. Want me to take a picture?" Jack asked, I nodded and he stepped back and began finding the best angle.

Jack gave me back my phone and I looked at the picture. It was true, it did look perfect but something was missing.
"Hey Zoe, can you take a picture of me and Jack please?" I winked at Jack and gave my sister my phone.

We sat down, ready for our picture to be taken.
"Ready?" Zoe asked as I nodded. I turned to the side and placed my lips against Jack's, smiling into the kiss. I saw the flash go in the corner of my shut eyes and this made me smile even more. We were out there, finally.
We drew out and looked round at Zoe, who was speechless.

"Wow..."
