• Jack's pov •

"So what you looking for? Something big and over the top or a simple design?" The ring guy said, I just shrugged.
What would Joe want? I thought to myself, then I had the answer.
"Something simple please?" I said and Oli patted my back, showing he was there for me.
"Good choice, here's the selection." He pulled out a little drawer filled with cute rings, one of them shone the brightest and caught my eye.
"Any that you like?" I pointed to the one that I saw first. The guy picked it up and showed me more closely. The diamond was very small but it cute, Joe's style.
"I'll take this one please." I asked, he nodded and smiled, putting it in a box.
"That'll be (insert price)." I scanned my card, thanked him and we walked out the shop.

"That was a cute ring Jack, he'll love it." Conor said, I smiled, proud of myself for once.
"Now that the rings done, I need to work out how to pop the question. Shit, this is scary." I worried.
"It's ok mate, we'll all be here if you need us. I'm off to grab some food and then off home though. I'll see you later Jack, do call if you need help!" Mikey left, the rest of the boys wished me luck and followed him. It was just me and Conor now.

We drove home and slumped on the sofa.
"I think I've gotta perfect idea on how to do it." I said out of the blue.

• Joe's pov •

A week after Jack bought the ring

It was Jack and I's date night and I was finally free of all the meetings so I could enjoy this night we had together.
"Hey babe, dress up warm tonight. I've got a plan sorted out." Jack said whilst we were making lunch. I nodded and asked why but he just tapped his nose.
"Be patient Sugg." I sighed and continued making our pasta.

The clock turned 6:30 and I stood in the living room waiting for Jack. I was dressed in a cosy jumper and black jeans, all this underneath my big fluffy coat.
"Finally!" I laughed as Jack came down the spiral staircase. He looked fit as fuck in a red jumper and black jeans, he had his glasses on which he knew made me love his outfit even more.
"You look gorgeous babe." He whispered in my ear.
"You can't speak, pretty boy." I returned the compliment and held his hand.

Jack lead me down to an isolated spot that was covered in fairy lights, it was really cute. There was a bench that sat in the middle of the circle of lit up trees, we sat down on it on just stared at each other.
"This is so cute Jack, I love it!" I said quietly as not to disturb the peace.
"Oh this isn't it babe." He left me confused as he stood me up. Then I realised what was going on when he went down on one knee.

"Joe, the second I saw you I knew that I couldn't spend another day without you. We became friends but that wasn't enough and we fell for each other pretty badly. I asked you to be my boyfriend and you said yes, then we moved in together and that's where the story left off. Now we can add another chapter and I want to write the first words. I think you know where this is going now so I'll just say it now.
Joesph Graham Sugg, will you marry me?"

Tears fell down my face as Jack pulled out the ring, it was perfect. Everything about this moment was perfect.
"Of course I will babe, I fucking love you." He slipped the ring on, a perfect fit, and I placed my lips on my boyfriend - no, fiancé.
A camera flash went off and I smiled.

Zoe was right, he was planning something.
