Girlfriends

• Jack's pov •

Most of the internet and all my friends shipped me with Toff, even though we've made it very clear that we're just friends. I've even friend zoned her many times in videos and people still thought that there's something going on! I mean, it's cool that they've found something to be passionate about but "Joff" could never happen - ever.

"Hey Jack!" Toff had come over to mine for the day and she'd been helping me with something very important.
"Yes?" I questioned her, looking up from my phone.
"You seen his new post?" She said, jumping down next to me on the sofa. I sighed, I knew exactly what she was on about. Joe has just posted a picture of him and Dianne saying that she's now his girlfriend. I should of been happy for Joe but my heart didn't let me, it held on to the past too much and it didn't wanna let go.

The truth was that me and Joe were friends with benefits for a bit, about half a year I think, and during that time I'd kinda fallen for him - quite a lot. It hurt me to see Joe looking happy with someone else, to think of the fact that if I told Joe about my feelings then that would be me with him, smiling to a camera and showing the world how happy we are. My eyes clouded over just by looking at the post.
"Aw bless you Jack, come here." Toff pulled me in and wiped away my tears.

Then something strange came over me and I leant in, pulling her into a kiss. She pushed me away, shaking her head and I realised what I'd done. Had I really just gone to kiss one of my best friends? Wow, I really was messed up.
"Look, I know you wanna be with Joe and are upset but please do not go for me, it's weird. If you're that sad then I think I've got a plan." She said and my mood lifted up.
Toff told me her plan and I loved it, it was perfect.

Dianne - I'm ready!! Gonna be great meeting all u boys
Toff - already at urs J, don't even need to ask
Caspar - is there pizza??
Amber - omg Casp! Ur obsessed w pizza
Evie - I'm in Jack, so is Oli
Mikey - I'm on a diet but u know what I say 'diet starts tomorrow'

Okay, so everything was set up. The boys were gonna be at mine for the night and my thoughts were going crazy.

• Conor's pov •

I couldn't believe that Joe was going out with Dianne. Did that half a year with my little brother not mean anything to him? I couldn't even begin to think of how Jack would be feeling. He was probably crying his eyes out, I was glad that Toff was with him or he would do something he'd regret.

When he texted about gathering at his then the alarm bells went off. What was he planning? I agreed anyway because I needed to find out what I was going on inside that pretty boy head of his.

The time had come to head off to Jack's and I had promised myself to get to the bottom of how my brother was feeling whether he liked it or not.

Me - I'm here little bro
Jack - guess ill av to answer the door then
Me - Tnx a lot

He answered the door with two beers in one hand. Welcoming me in, he handed one of them to me and sat back down on his sofa next to Toff. They looked cosy together but I knew that Jack didn't want her, the one that he wanted was already taken though.
"So then Jack, why'd you ask everyone round?" I asked, no one was around but Toff so I knew that he could be honest.
"Well, I guess I just wanted to show Joe what he was missing." He smirked, showing off his outfit. Then I understand what was gonna go down that night. Nodding, I high fived him and grabbed another drink.

All the boys turned up and the sofas were stuffed with couples hugging and the odd single guy just drinking the night away. Jack and Toff suddenly stood up started dancing to the song that playing loud out of the speakers, they smirked at me and made everyone follow their lead. Joe's eyes didn't leave Jack at all that night and his girlfriend started to notice.
"Hey Joe, eyes on me babe." She whispered whilst they were dancing and he shook his head and pulled her in.

Josh and Mikey came strolling up to me as I stood back and watched the rest dance.
"Jack looks very close to Toff, doesn't he?" Josh remarked, shoving me and Mikey agreed.
"The boy's definitely getting some tonight, you seen the way they're smirking at each other." All this talk about Joff was just killing me, I sighed and decided to tell them about the plan.
"Look, Jack's trying to make Joe jealous by being with Toff." I told them and their mouths dropped.
"Wait, Jack still likes Joe? Wow mate that's news." Mikey said and we returned to watching the couples.

• Jack's pov •

It was time to put our plan into action and I danced closer to Toff's side.
"This is only for tonight right? Cause we're best friends, nothing more." She whispered in my ear and I nodded.
"Yep, this is only to make Joe jealous."
"Okay then, let's do this." She leant in and put her lips against mine.

• Joe's pov •

Jack kissed Toff and the whole room had stopped around them. I let go of the red headed girl by my side and just stared at the boy that I'd spent too many nights.
Shit, I still liked him...
