Stephanie had pursued her brothers throughout the entire Migrating Lands until they reached the Crystal Throne. Before they could be spotted by the hundreds of dragons that were there already, Eclipse grabbed Shadow by the wings and threw him towards a pillar.

As Stephanie caught up with them and landed on the pillar with them, cloaking, she watched as Eclipse stood on top of Shadow, pinning him down.

"Let go, Eclipse!" Shadow roared, "Dad's in danger! We have to save him!"

"Again," Eclipse snarled, "You are a psycho!"

"Face it, Shadow!" Stephanie growled, "You just want to be heroic because you want to be Alpha!"

Shadow stopped struggling and stared at his sister with a saddened look on his face. Eclipse had a look of dismay.

With eyes clouded with tears, Shadow kicked his brother. He jumped to his feet and vaulted to the wall of the pillar.

"Fine," Shadow sniffled, "If you do not want me to help, I guess I'll go away. Maybe this time you will rethink your words if you really want me to help you."

"Sha-" Eclipse stammered, but Shadow interrupted him, "Forget it. I'm leaving."

"Sha-" Eclipse tried again, but Shadow leaped away into the far lands of the Migrating Lands. The two siblings watched as Shadow cloaked and disappeared, never to be seen again.

Eclipse laid on the ground defeated. Stephanie brushed her tail against his back.

"He'll come back," Stephanie said in a soothing voice, "But for now, we have to figure out a plan to sa-"

She was interrupted by the roars of the surrounding dragons. Both Stephanie and Eclipse whirled around to find the dragons cheering as a red figure floated down from the den above and onto the Crystal Throne.

"Errr..." Eclipse growled through gritted teeth, "I really hate that dragon."

"Don't we all?" Stephanie groaned.

The dragon spread his wings, causing the dragons to cheer even more. Stephanie didn't know why until she realized what his wings had revealed: Inside his claws, the dragon was pinning a struggling Toothless.

"It's Dad!" Stephanie snarled. She turned to Eclipse and growled, "Do something! Use that big brain of yours!"

"I can't think of anything when I'm rushed!" Eclipse snarled back, "Just let me think!"

"Well, can you think of any odds of saving him?" Stephanie snapped.

"There's only one way the odds can go in these circumstances," Eclipse said, "Utter failure!"

Stephanie watched with frantic eyes as the dragon raised his tail. He unsheathed the barb on his tail and was raising it above Toothless' head.

"Eclipse!" Stephanie snapped, "It's happening!!!"

"I know, I know!!" Eclipse snarled, "I'm trying to think!"

"There's no time to think!" Stephanie screamed, "It's now or never!"

But, just as the tail was launching towards Toothless' head, a high-pitched sound rang through the giant clearing. The evil dragon stopped and looked around, a suspicious glint in his eye. The other dragons did the same. Stephanie and Eclipse also listened and immediately recognized the sound. It was a diving Night Fury.

"NIGHT FURY!" one of the dragons yelled as a black shadow came into view.

"GET DOWN!" another dragon called as a large plasma blast rang through the clearing. Dragons scattered, screaming in terror as the black figure circled the clearing, ranging plasma blasts everywhere. Because of how fast the figure was moving, Stephanie couldn't get a good look at it.

"Where are you all going?" the dragon yelled at his fleeing comrades, "Attack the intruder! Who cares what it is?"

The dragons stopped fleeing. They hovered in confusion and silence. Suddenly, one of them caught a glimpse of the attacking dragon and they all started to follow him.

"Oh goodness!" Eclipse whimpered, "That dragon is a dead sheep."

"That's why we HAVE to HELP HIM!" Stephanie roared.

"I told you many, many times," Eclipse snarled, "It's too dangerous!"

"Stop worrying and be rebellious once in a while!" Stephanie growled playfully. Before Eclipse could retaliate, Stephanie jumped into the air and followed the black figure as it was pursued by the dragons. To not draw attention, she cloaked and followed the swarm.

Soon, she caught up the black figure and was surprised to find out who it was: it was Shadow.

"Shadow?" Stephanie gasped as the two dragons soared around each other, evading the other dragons.

"Howdy!" Shadow said with a smirk on his face.

"What are you doing here?" Stephanie asked as she corkscrewed to avoid a fireball.

"Same reason as you," Shadow said with confidence, "To save Dad!"

Shadow flew to the top of the air and dove right for the evil dragon that was still pinning Toothless. The evil dragon looked up with alarm as Shadow shot at him. The dragon dodged, dragging Toothless with it.

Then, Stephanie took a go. But just as her plasma blast exited her maw, the dragon opened its mouth and squirted a glob of green saliva at her. She dodged, but it was too late. She had missed her chance to shoot the dragon.

But she wasn't defeated. She turned around and tried again. The dragon dodged as plasma blasts rained upon the Crystal Throne.

"I can't seem to get him!" Stephanie yelled when she regrouped with Shadow.

"I think it's about to get even harder," Shadow said. He extended his tail to the Crystal Throne. The dragon's subordinates were now surrounding the entire structure. They were protecting the dragon.

"Oh, that is not cool!" Stephanie snarled. But as she was about to dive, the entire clearing was flooded with all sorts of roars. Before Stephanie and Shadow could turn around, the entire clearing was not just filled with evil dragons: an entire fleet of dragons lead by Cloudjumper descended on the evil dragons. The entire clearing turned into a full-on battle: dragons clawing at each other, others stinging and biting... some were playing dirty and shooting each other with their fire.

"What the heck?" Shadow gasped, "Where did they all come from?"

"They were hiding," a voice explained, "I went and found them."

The two siblings turned and found Eclipse.

"Now, what are we waiting for?" Eclipse said. Stephanie noticed something that she had never seen in Eclipse's eyes: he had confidence. He had courage, "Let's go save Dad."
