As the entire clearing became a total bloodbath, the three siblings dove at the Crystal Throne to find that the dragon and their dad were no longer there.

"Where are they?" Stephanie asked.

"That dragon is a coward!" Shadow huffed.

Eclipse said nothing for a little bit. Suddenly, his ears perked.

"There's something going on in the den!" Eclipse announced, "And it doesn't look good!"

The three siblings shot up to the den, evading the mass horde of dragons that were fighting each other.

When they reached the den, they found their mother trapped in Deathsong amber. The dragon had Toothless held tightly in his claws. The tail was, once again, hovering over Toothless' head.

Luna was the first to see the siblings.

"Kids!" Luna screamed, "Get out! It's too dangerous!"

The dragon suddenly launched its head up and the tail retracted. Its eyes narrowed upon seeing the siblings.

"Ahh, finally..." the dragon hissed, "So you received the message. It's time to watch your father die... once and for all..."

"You won't get away with this, you monster!" Shadow snarled, his back hunched and his teeth bared, "I don't care what you do with us. Just leave our father alone!"

"Or we'll do that for you!" Eclipse added. Stephanie was seeing an entirely new side of Eclipse today. In a regular situation, Eclipse would've stayed in the back, thinking up certain situations. But not this Eclipse. This Eclipse was brave. It was quite shocking.

"Never!" the dragon snarled, "This is what he gets for treating me like I'm nothing! For banishing me from a home that I dreamed of my entire life!"

"Maybe because of what you would do to the land!" Stephanie hissed, "This is exactly why dragons like you don't belong here. Now, let our father go!"

"You move one single step towards me," the dragon said, raising his barbed tail, "Or ask me that again, your father is gone!"

The siblings suddenly stopped. They stood upright and glowered at the dragon as a small smirk flew across his face. Stephanie shut her mouth as tight as she could. Something was building inside. And she had to conceal it from the dragon.

After a few moments of glowering, the dragon hung his tail over Toothless once more.

"Thank you for being patient," the dragon snickered, "Now, it's time to end this once and for-"

The dragon couldn't finish his sentence. Stephanie opened her mouth and the largest plasma blast she had ever seen shot out towards the dragon. The plasma blast collided with the dragon's tusk and he fell backward, hitting the wall of the den before sliding down, defeated. As he laid on the ground, the tusk that was struck by the blast broke in half and fell to the ground.

When the dragon was off of him, Toothless jumped in the air. He ran to his kids and embraced them.

"I can't believe you three are alive!" Toothless said. Tears flooded his eyes. He looked at Shadow and sniffled, "And you're back to normal!"

"Indeed I am," Shadow said. He turned to a still-trapped Luna, who was also flooding with tears.

"Sorry, Mom," Shadow apologized.

"It's okay," Luna said through a small smile, "I knew you were doing it because of him." She glowered at the unconscious dragon.

"Well, the bottom line is," Toothless explained, "We're all here. That's all that matters."
