"I'll-"

"Nope."

"But-"

"Ah!"

"But I-"

"Nada!" Brian finally quits trying, slouching in the uncomfortable seat. He only straightens his posture as a mechanic comes in, clipboard in hand.

"This is going to take a few hours to fix. Are you sure you have enough money?" Jordyn's expression deadpans, noticing a hint of racism.

"If I can buy the car, I think I can pay for it," he speaks slowly. The man raises his hands in defense, mumbling under his breath. "Can you just hold the car until 5 A.M?"

"Sure," the mechanic sighs, turning and walking back to the car.

"Jordyn, I-"

"I'm going to beat the white out of you if you don't shut up." Brian instinctively pouts. Jordyn, licking his bottom before biting it, forces a thought from his mind. The athlete can only walk out of the shop, the nerd following quietly. " I'm never letting you drive again," Jordyn announces, forcing his hands into the pockets of his varsity jacket. " I hope you have something else that won't cost me over a shit ton of money." Silence fills the area before Jordyn snaps his fingers, stopping to point at Brian. "I know how you can pay me back," he grins a mischievous one, seemingly forcing a quiet whimper from Johnson.
