The next day, Jisung made sure to layer up his clothing. He wore a plain black T-shirt, a hoodie and a jacket. He knew his friends well and he also knew that him and Minho would at some point be forced to sit together, possibly walk next to one another. Jisung wasn't risking the chance of unwanted and accidental skin-ship.
Call him overdramatic, but the thought of bundling himself up in clothes, on a pretty hot day rather than accidentally bumping arms with his worst enemy seemed a lot more appealing to him.
It looked like Minho had a similar idea too though since he wore a thick oversized hoodie, the sleeves pulled down over his hands. This made Jisung feel a little less overdramatic.
"Hey!" Chan says cheerfully when Jisung finally reached the group, throwing his arms around both him and Minho. This was already way too close. "Doesn't Minho look good today? Why don't you give your best friend a compliment"
It was times like this when Jisung wished he had the ability to set himself on fire. But the thought of the punishment seemed to be the only thing that made him force a smile to his lips as he looks over at Minho, who waited expectantly.
"You're hoodie is nice" he says through gritted teeth "makes you look like an oversized marshmallow"It was obvious Chan wasn't too pleased with the compliment but he knew it was the best he was going to get on the first day. "Minho why don't you compliment him back"
Minho studied Jisung for a moment, obviously finding it difficult to see anything to compliment. "You're hair looks nice I guess" he shrugs "but you could have made more of an effort"
It had barely been five minutes and already Jisung wanted to throw a rock at him.
Chan sighs a little but keeps the smile on his face."Okay well I have class but I know you two both have math together" this earns a groan from both boys "Felix keep an eye on them" he instructs and the younger aussie nods.
The three of them wander inside of the school, of course Jisung and Minho had to walk ahead so Felix could watch them.
If Jisung was being completely honest, he felt like he was being treat like a child and he was sure Minho did too.He could feel Minho's eyes on him as he walked, he tried his best to ignore it but it was getting irritating.
Jisung stops walking and turns to look at Minho. "Can you not""What?" He asks, a smug smile on his lips. He knew exactly what.
"Stop looking at me" Jisung mutters, raising a hand to shove the elder but drops it when remembering Felix.
"Am I not allowed to look at my best friend?" He fakes a pout but Jisung scoffs and walks on ahead, entering the classroom without him.
He makes his way over to his usual seat, and he was quick to remove his jacket and hoodie before he passed out from overheating.Suddenly, he spots movement in the corner of his eye and spots someone sitting in the desk next to him. "What are you doing?" Jisung hisses, trying his best to scoot away "get your ass to the back where you usually sit" he points at the desk that Minho usually sat at but the elder only rolls his eyes.
"Do you really think I chose to sit here?"he asks, disgust evident on his face "if you haven't noticed my seat is taken, I didn't have a choice"
Jisung turns in his chair and spots Felix sat in Minho's usual seat, smiling proudly and sending the brunette a quick wink. Jisung groans and slumps in his seat "if I killed myself now would the class get the rest of the day off due to trauma?" He mutters, crossing his arms.
Minho nods and smiles brightly "no pressure but i think you should take one for the team"
Jisung laughs bitterly, his eyes narrowing a little "nice try". He glances back over his shoulder at Felix who gives him a thumbs up. It must look like they were making conversation which Jisung could not have his friends thinking.
With a huff, he takes out his notes and textbooks he needed for the lesson. It wouldn't be too difficult to ignore Minho. It was pretty easy to ignore him when he calls him names, so it should be relatively easy to ignore him when he was silent...
Once again, that's just wishful thinking.
Throughout the lesson, Minho was quick to volunteer answering all of the teachers questions, which meant Jisung had to sit and listen to Minho's annoying voice spewing out math equations for a whole hour. He didn't know if he was just trying to prove a point of being smart, but Jisung didn't care. It's not like Minho possessed any sort of ability of making him jealous, especially when it came to math.
Finally the lesson was over and Jisung was quick to grab his things and leave the room, practically sprinting down the school hallway. He needed at least a ten minute break away from Minho. It was barely half way though day one and Jisung had already had enough.
The only reason he was agreeing to do this was because of what Changbin had said the night before. About it being upsetting to see his best friends arguing. Jisung definitely didn't want to be friends with Minho but the idea of being civil with him wasn't so bad.
There was a problem though, it's very difficult to try and get along with someone who annoys you as much as Minho annoyed Jisung.
He also feared the punishment if he did offend or hurt Minho. He knew his friends would prepare something bad."Okay Jisung" he says to himself "you can do this"

"Okay listen up losers!" Jisung says when he approaches his usual lunch table, he was happy to see that everyone was there. "Me and Minho have had a very civil discussion""We have?" The brunette asks, almost offended at Jisung for saying such a thing.
"Yup we have" he says, shooting him a glare. "If you guys want us to act like best friends then we also want to set rules" this seems to cause Minho to smile a little, but it disappeared pretty quickly when he noticed Jisung looking.
"That depends on what they are" Chan says, watching as Jisung willingly takes a seat beside Minho. He knew he was going to be forced to sit there anyway.
"We want a three strike system" he nods in Minho's direction, a silent sign for him to agree.
"Oh, um yes we do" He stammers which earns a kick under the table from Jisung, but within seconds Minho had kicked back.
"We get three strikes if we say something mean, if we hurt each other or if a fight gets too out of control, only when we have reached strike three, which we won't, only then can you give us our punishment" Jisung explains and Chan nods in understanding.
He looks at the rest of the boys "that seems fair enough, but you only get three between the two of you, not each" he points out which Jisung reluctantly accepts. "Anything else you want?"
"Money" both Minho and Jisung say this at the same time.
"You want money?" Hyunjin raises a brow.
"Yup, we want ten thousand won off each of you, five for each me and Jisung, if we survive the month without quitting this stupid plan" Minho says and Jisung was genuine impressed. "If we don't then you'll get money from us"
Chan thinks for a moment, obviously weighing out pros and cons in his mind "deal"
