Math class seemed to drag on as usual, but thankfully Minho wasn't constantly raising his hand to answer questions. In fact, he didn't seem himself. It was obvious he was upset from the way he was practically staring into space the entire lesson.

A good friend would ask him what was wrong and try and make him feel better. Was Jisung going to do that? Absolutely not.

In fact it amused him to see the elder look so miserable, that smug smile nowhere to be seen. It was bliss.

When the bell rings the class is quick to get up and leave the classroom, however Jisung takes his time packing up as usual. He figured out a long time ago that if he went a little slower then he missed the crowds of students.

Just as he was about to stand and leave he notices Minho hadn't moved from his seat, his textbook still sat open in front of him.
Jisung debates just leaving him, but as funny as it would be to see him get locked in the classroom, he also knew his friends would yell at him for leaving him in there.

He stands in front of his desk and waves a hand in front of Minho's face to get his attention. The elder seems to snap back into reality, looking around at the empty classroom in confusion before looking up at Jisung. "What the hell are you waiting for? Extra work?"
Minho doesn't reply, only shoves his books into his bag and leaves the room and Jisung behind. "A 'thank you' would have been nice!" He yells after him "asshole"

He sighs and leaves the classroom too, making his way towards the cafeteria. He spots his friends all sat at the table, laughing and joking around. The sight brought a smile to his lips.
"Where's Minho?" Woojin asks when Jisung takes a seat.

The younger shrugs "he ran off somewhere" he states simply, reaching over and stealing the cookie from Seungmin's try.

"What did you do now?" Changbin groans, assuming Jisung had obviously said something to upset Minho.

Jisung raises his hands in defence "I didn't do anything I swear" he says "he looked upset but it wasn't because of me for once"

"I'll go find him" Hyunjin says, standing and handing Jisung his tray so he wouldn't steal anymore food from Seungmin.

"I hope he's okay" Chan mutters but Jisung only scoffs.

"He's probably just being an attention whore like usual" Jisung points out as he takes a bite of the cookie. Chan gives him a warning look but he only shrugs "if he doesn't hear the name calling then it doesn't count".

"But that's being two faced" Felix inputs but Jisung only rolls his eyes.

"Give me a break, at least I didn't say it to his face" he takes his phone out and distracts himself by scrolling through social media. At least that way his friends would stop lecturing him on something he didn't do.

Thankfully they got the idea and the conversation carried on between them and they stopped pressing for answers from Jisung.

Jisung hadn't seen Minho for the rest of the day. Usually they had at least three classes together but he wasn't in any of them and neither was Hyunjin.

Don't get the wrong idea. Jisung didn't give a shit about what was wrong with Minho. But he was a nosy guy and always wanted to know everyone's business, no mater who it was.

He exits the school and spots Hyunjin sat at the bottom of the steps. The crowds had pretty much died down and everyone had rushed off home. Jisung walks down the steps and takes a seat beside the elder, smiling at him when Hyunjin when he looks up.
"Are you okay? You kinda disappeared after lunch"

Hyunjin only shrugs "I was making sure Minho was okay"

"Was he okay?" Jisung asks, watching as the last few students left the school.

"Why? You worried?" He smirks a little but Jisung only rolls his eyes. Hyunjin knew he didn't care, he just liked teasing.

"You know I don't" this makes Hyunjin laugh a little, just the idea of Jisung genuinely caring seemed rather amusing.

"He's fine, he seemed pretty upset though, he wouldn't tell me why so I just kept him company for a while" he explains and Jisung only nods in understanding. "I guess you really didn't do anything after all, he would have jumped at the chance to get you in trouble"

Jisung laughs at this but it wasn't necessarily true. Even if Jisung had done something to upset him he probably wouldn't have told the others. It was almost guaranteed to be another strike.
"It might be hard to believe but I'm not always the cause of his miserableness"

"Yeah but ninety percent of the time you are"
