I have been told when you're 18 I'll fly so high
I'll run the skies
I have been told when I'm 18 I'll have wings so wide they can't be broken
I have been told I'll be the shark of skies at 18
They'll feed me their best meat
and they will give me their best treasures at 18
That they will keep me in an aquarium that has fish and greens in the sky
It will be worth it? I've been told
You'll be one of a kind
Only you in the sky
When you're 18,
But I wanted oceans and seas
There where I'm the only one who believes in me
If you give me skies, I'll wonder what's in the ocean
What does it look like when I'm not there
What does the ocean's touch feel like on my skin
Do not give me what I do not desire
I'm not a shark without a heart
but I'm a shark with enough power to tear your 18's decisions for me apart
and you with them.
