True friends don't leave you behind...I don't deserve to call myself Komaeda's friend. I left him when he needed somebody.. For the first time all day, Hajime's mind was no longer on Mahiru. Instead, he focused on treating Nagito to a life he needed. Nagito would've told Hajime that he deserved to live in the filth that he did, but something told them both that that wasn't the case. Hajime had turned the key inside the lock and opened his front door. His house was large, especially since Hajime had added those extra rooms in his house for his roommates.

"Is it really okay to let me in? I don't want to impose.." Nagito said. Hajime shook his head, smiling slightly. "It's fine! I have plenty of extra rooms! Souda-kun moved in with Tanaka-san and Kuzuryu lives with Pekoyama now! We'll have lots of space. Nanami-san stays here too sometimes. It'd be nice for you all to get acquainted agai-" "No!" Nagito yelled, interrupting Hajime.

"S-sorry...I mean...I'm just not ready to meet with them again. I'm...not ready to meet with anyone...I only ran into you be chance." Hajime nodded. The two walked into the living room, Hajime setting Nagito on the couch and walking to the kitchen. Hajime wasn't an expert cook before, but after the operation, he had become world class.

He prepared Nagito and him some curry and rice, a simple dish to put together in the moment. Nagito waited patiently on the couch, playing with the locks of his long hair.

Hajime came back from the kitchen a minute later with two steaming hot plates of curry and rice, ready to be devoured by the two hungry males. "Do you want me to get you a drink or anything? I make pretty spicy curry," Hajime offered. "Oh no, I'm alright. I can handle a little spicy!" Nagito took his plate and ladled a small portion of the curry, barely taking any of the rice with it.

"Mm! Thish ish sho-"Nagito's face went red. "Ha! Ha! Hoooooot!" Nagito sprang up, running to the kitchen and gulping down a bottle of water convieniently on the counter. "Hah...hah...when...you said..spicy...i didn't think..." Hajime chuckled, pouring a glass of milk for Nagito.

Nagito downed the milk as they started conversation. It was a lovely dinner they had, yes indeed, but a quiet and uncomfortable one all the more. Hajime was itching with questions to ask Nagito about from after his disappearance and Nagito was dying to have his first shower in months. Truly, they both wanted to speak up, but neither found the right moment to bring it up.

"Ah, I've finished..." Nagito stated quietly. Hajime picked up their plates and walked them over to his sink, placing them there. "You can go ahead and shower. It's the last room on the right. My room is the first on the left and the room across from that can be yours. Some of Tanaka's clothes are in that room, so feel free to wear those. He's the same height as you I think, but the clothes might be a bit too loose. I'll provide anything else you need." Nagito nodded and walked up the stairs as Hajime started on the dishes.

His house really is quite large....and it's exceptionally clean for someone who lives alone, especially a male... Nagito ran his finger along the banister of the staircase, catching no dust on the brown bar. He really keeps clean, huh? Might have a hard time repaying him for this...

Nagito reached the top of the stairs, turning left to go to "his" room. He glanced at Hajime's room, the door slightly open, and paused. It'd be wrong to sneak into his room, but I want to see how he's been doing since graduation..

The thoughts in Nagito's head fought against each other, until he shook the thoughts and went with what he knew was wrong. It'll only take a second...sorry Hinata-kun..
