Stoick was being escorted to the docks by five hunters. He had already given up fighting when Viggo threatened to kill Hiccup but he probably still felt that almost half a dozen armed men were necessary for the chief.

And boy was he right.

With clenched fists and his head held high, Stoick marched through the village. As he did so, a peculiar smell reached his nose. It was familiar. Seemed some other people also recognized it and it only took them seconds to figure out what it was.

Zippleback gas!

Not a moment too soon, a loud explosion sounded through the ports. At least half of the armada was ablaze. The loud whoops of the twins were picked up by the now curious ears of the people.

Out of the fire flew four dragons.

With riders.

"Hahaha!" Stoick laughed proudly. He grabbed the two nearest hunters and bashed their heads together. With three left, the chief grabbed a sword and quickly flattened a pair. But the fifth had a crossbow. He aimed it at the exposed man. But before he could pull the trigger the hunter stumbled backwards, an arrow standing out from his shoulder. Stoick glanced up and saw a young female teen slip her bow back over her back.

"Hina?" he asked himself.

"Who?"

Gobber came up behind him.

"That girl," he said pointing behind Astrid. "She was on the island I came from. She told us where Hiccup was."

"Phhh. And you thought she was lying!" Gobber crowed.

Stoick growled. "Come on!" he yelled at the now freed villagers. "Let's finish this!"

The berkians charged at the hunters with cries of anger and rage.

The worried father didn't know how much time passed between the clashes of axes, swords and arrows. Younger children were running around, carrying maces and bludgeons, attacking knees and feet. Older vikings went head to head with the hunters while the dragon riders and A-team attacked from the sky. Berkian's weren't called hard-headed for nothing.

Suddenly, a loud shout caught everyone's attention. Up on the cliff above the great hall, stood Viggo.

With Hiccup.

Stoick raised his sword, ready to run to his son's aid.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you Stoick."

The hunter pushed Hiccup closer to the edge and a few rocks tumbled down.

"You, your people, and riders are too far to get to him on time." he shouted. "Surrender, and no harm will come to your son."

The defeated chief let out a growl of anger and dropped his sword.

He sighed.

"I-'' but before he could finish, the call of the Night Fury sounded out around the island. A black blur appeared out of nowhere and shot up straight in front of Viggo. In his shock the man stumbled and pushed Hiccup off the ledge.

The dragon riders dived down, missing the twins explosion by inches and they couldn't help but green as they heard the cheers that erupted from the village.

Yet Hina gazed at the sight, a glare etched onto her pale features. Anger clawed at her insides.

Her "supposed" father did this.

He attacked a tribe of people just because they were defending dragons, who were more humane than most humans themselves.

Then a hunter caught her eyes. He was aiming a crossbow at the large red-headed man. She quickly swung her bow off her back and knocked in an arrow.
