Chapter 7

Derek's pov

After Justin and Jason left the living room I looked at my mother surprised.

"Mom they can't leave Canada they want to finish out their senior year here" I tell her as I looked at her while giving her the famous Bieber puppy eyes.

"Derek don't give me that face" she says

"Fine then what if I stay here with them?" I ask her as I see all them poke their heads in here making me think of an episode of Friends.

"Yes you guys?" I ask as they each walked into the living room.

"Would you really stay here with us?" Justin asks me.

"Yeah I mean I know you said we cant always be together and do everything together, but if I move I can't do all the things that we used to do like having a Brothers Day and racing to the Skate park at two in the afternoon. Have a paintball war in the backyard" I say as they all looked at me.

"Derek I'm at a lost for words. I don't know what to say. I thought you were excited about going?" My mother asks me.

"I was I just I want to finish out my senior year here with everyone" I say

"Derek are you sure?" My mom asks me

"Yes mom I'm sure" I tell her 

"If you change your mind you can always come out to California" she tells me

"So? I can stay?" I ask her

"Yes you can stay" she says hugging me and kissing me on top of my head.

"I love you mom and I promise we'll take care of each other, but we still can't stay here alone" I say

"I love you too baby and can you each stay with a friend?" My mom says as Justin hugs mom and puts his face in her shoulder.

"Hey don't cry baby they'll fly you out and everything Jay don't be upset. Hey after you graduate maybe you can move out to California" she says

"Mom you can't leave and how come you never told us about that man?" Justin asks her

"I mean I don't care as long as your happy" he adds on

She didn't say anything and Justin pulled away and headed back to his room. Out of all of us Justin loves her the most. I just stood there with everyone as my mom had a look of disappointment on her face and she said-

"I got to get back to the office I love you, you know that I'll be back later tonight" she says and walks out the door.

Jason's pov

As Justin left the living room Derek and I just stared at our mom. I left to go check on Justin and Derek was right behind me. I tapped on his door and I heard a quiet "come in" I opened the door and we walked inside.

"Hey little bro" I say as I sit in his computer chair and Derek sat in his desk chair.

"Why? Why did she have to hide that shit from us? It makes me so mad she couldn't come to us and tell us" Justin says

"Hey baby bro look at me it's gonna be alright and besides you have us and all our friends" Derek tells him

We both ruffled his hair and he smiled small. We smiled back and there was a knock at the door.

"Hey we're gonna head home we'll be back later tonight" Melina tells me and Chandler looked at Justin.

"Hey can you guys give us a minute?" Justin says.

"Yeah come on you guys" I say as we all left the room except for Chandler.

"You think he's gonna be okay Derek he's so broken" I ask him

"He's gonna be okay. He has us we always got each other's backs and nothing's gonna change that" he tells me

"I just I feel so damn guilty Jason it's all my fault" he says

"Hey man I'm sorry that we aren't the brothers you want us to be, but it's like you said you can't help who you like or who you fall in love with" I say as he just looked at me

"Jase I'm telling The Truth I had nothing to do with Hunter. I didn't know he was doing that to Justin" he says breaking down in my arms

"Jason I'm the worst person on the face of this planet" he says as he kicked my desk.

"Hey look at me yes you did some very hurtful and awful things, but you can change if you really wanted to. Derek he's our brother and we should love each other no matter what" I say as he looked at me

"Derek Justin wants you" Chandler says tapping on my bedroom door.

Derek got up and headed for Justin's room.

"Well I guess I'll see you later" he says

"Chandler" I say leaving my room

"Yeah Jase" he says meeting me halfway

"Please don't do anything to hurt my little brother he means so much to me and I don't wanna see him hurt anymore" I tell him

"Jason you don't have to worry about that. He means everything to me too and I wouldn't do anything to hurt Justin" he tells me

"Alright and I'm warning you" I say

"I know I'll be back later" he says and walks out the door.

"I went back into my room and laid on my bed. I pulled my phone out and scrolled through my Instagram. As I was scrolling through my Instagram I heard the front door open. I got off of Instagram and played Subway Surfers.

Justin's pov

I'm laying in my room just staring at the wall when I felt a pain in my back.

"Ow ow ow" I say standing up and holding my back. Man this really hurts.

"Ja-Jason!" I say as I continued to hold my back.

He ran into my room and looked at me

"What's wrong?" He asks me

"I was just laying in bed and then all of a sudden I got this shooting pain in my back and it really hurts." I tell him as he made me stand up straight.

"Ow!" I say

"Jay you need to relax alright lay down flat on your stomach and I'll be right back" he says while leaving my room

I laid down and turned my head to face my wall. The next thing I felt was something hot being placed on my back.

"Oh my God" I say as the pain started to ease.

"Feeling a little better?" He asks me

"Yeah it's starting to go away I'm sorry for making you have to do this Jase" I say as I face him

"Hey as long as your okay it's fine" he says

"Hey baby bro you okay?" I hear Derek ask me

"I'm fine just tired that's all" I say as they looked at me and my phone buzzed next to me.

Chandler: hey Jay I hope you feel better can't wait to see you tomorrow. Sleep well tonight cause your gonna be busy

I smiled and put my phone down.

"What's with that smile?" Derek asks me

"Just Chandler. Oh yeah dad is bringing Jazzy and Jaxon over to see me tomorrow" I tell them

They just looked at me. Yeah Jason's not a big fan of our father.

I hate that Jason doesn't want to work things out with our dad, but to tell you The Truth my dad still tries to work things out with Jason. Clearly Jason doesn't wanna hear it. They kissed me on the top of my head and left my room. I blew out an aggravated breath and tried to get some sleep.
