Justin's pov

So it's the day before graduation and we're at school rehearsing the whole thing. It's taking forever.

"Aye man relax it's gonna be alright" my friend Isaac tells me

"I'm trying man" I say

Half an Hour Later

Justin's pov (continued)

Finally!

"Uncle Justin!" I turned around to see Jai.

"Hey little man what are you doing here mommy was supposed to drop you off at the house after we were done" I tell him

"Yeah I know, but I couldn't wait to see you where's my daddy?" He asks me

"Right over there" I say pointing to where Jason was talking to a bunch of girls with his arms around Lucas.

"Can you take me to him?" He asks me

"Yeah come on" I say as I start walking

"How has your day been so far?" I ask him

"It's been okay" he tells me

"That's good now be quiet we're gonna surprise daddy" I say

"Hey Jase you got a visitor" I say as they all looked at me

He turned around while letting go of Lucas.

"Hey baby boy what are you doing here? Mommy was supposed to drop you off after we were done" he says

"I know, but I couldn't wait to see you" he tells him

"Awe alright" Jason says as I handed Jai to him

"Jason you didn't tell us you were a father" one of the girls said flirting wise. Jason just looked at her and then at Lucas. He laced his fingers through his and said-

"I mean yeah I'm a father and the only reason I never said anything is because it's personal not public" he says

"Alright babe let's get going Jay are we riding with you?" Jason asks me

"Oh sure bye ladies" I said while waving and taking Jai's back pack from him

"Where's uncle Derek?" Jai asked Jason

"Oh he's gonna meet us at the house I promise did you have a good day today?" Jase asks him

"It was okay" he says as we get in the car. Once we found out about Jai Derek and I went out to buy a booster seat or a regular car seat. So yeah I started the car up.

"Hey I uh have something to do after I drop you three off at the house" I say as I pulled out of the parking lot. When I stopped at the corner I put my headphones in and played my music. Rude I know it's just my mind is somewhere else and I don't want to snap on my own nephew.

Once we got to the house I unlocked the doors so they could get out.

"Bye uncle Justin" Jai says as he kissed my cheek and got out.

"Bye baby I'll see you when I get back I promise and if I don't I'll see you tomorrow" I tell him as Jason closed the door.

I drove off down the street and took a right turn. I turned on my radio and listened to whatever was on. I kept going straight till I came to a red light. I leaned my head against the window and waited. Once it turned green I went left and continued to go straight.

When I came to a stop in front of the house my heart started pounding in my chest. I turned the car off and got out. I walked to the door and knocked three times. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I honestly don't know why I'm so nervous I'm just at my dads house.

"Hey Jay what's up" I hear my father ask me as I looked up at him

"I uh wanted to invite you and everyone to Jason, Derek's and I's graduation tomorrow that is if you want to come" I say as I start to babble, but I stop myself

"Jay we'd love to be there to see you boys graduate" he tells me

"Okay great and I gotta head out and go see some friends can't wait to see you all tomorrow" I say turning away and heading back to my car.

I got in and buckled up. I sped off and took a right turn. There was just one person that I couldn't keep off my mind and that was Chandler. My bestfriend who I haven't seen in months. I miss him more than anything and I know he misses me too. At least I think he still does. I stopped in front of his house to see him sitting on his front porch. I turned my car off and got out. Well here goes nothing.

"Hi" I say when I got to him

"Hi" He says back

"I uh just wanted to stop by and see how you're doing" I say as I sit next to him

"I'm doing alright just miss you that's all" he says

"That's good" I say

"Yeah so uh how have you been" He asks me

"I've been better uh Chandler" I start off

"Yeah Jay" He says looking at me while turning

"I miss you" is all I say

"I miss you too Jay" he tells me as we just looked at each other I got this feeling in the pit of my stomach and I didn't know what to say or do.

"So uh you excited about graduation?" He asks me

"Yeah totally" I say scratching the back of my neck. It felt weird to be around him after everything that had happened between us. Being friends since we were four and sticking up for each other. Then trying to be more than friends and prom and now we're here.

"What's on your mind Jay? I know something's bothering you" He says as I look dead ahead of me. Man I haven't been here since I brought Jazzy and Jaxon over here.

"Nothing just that I haven't been here since I brought Jazzy and Jaxon over here" I say as I looked down at my hands

"You mean since prom night?" He asks me as I felt my eyes start to sting

"Yeah since that" is all I said

"Well I never got to give you your dance that night and I've regretted it ever since" he tells me as I looked at him

"Oh I don't know Chandler I mean there's no music and-" he cut me off

"Then we'll make our own" he says standing to his feet and holding his hand out to me

"Come on Jay who's it gonna hurt?" He asks me as I looked up at him. Oh what the hell. I took his hand and he placed his on my waist obviously making me put mine around his neck. I began to hum a melody and he just gazed into my eyes and I got that feeling in the pit of my stomach again. That feeling took me back to the day at the hospital when Chandler told me he was in love with me.
