Chapter 19

Jason's pov

I am currently walking down the street to god knows where. So as I'm walking my phone starts ringing I pulled it out of my pocket to see Amy calling me.

Jason: what

Amy: don't get smart with me where are you?

Jason: out walking

Amy: alright I'm just gonna leave Jai with Derek and Justin until you decide to show up bye

She hung up and I let out a frustrated breath and ran my fingers through my hair. I went back to the school and got my car. After I got my car I plugged my phone up and played whatever came on.

As I drove I thought about what Justin said to me today and then Jai came to my mind just as I was pulling into the driveway. I turned the car off and got out.

"Daddy! Daddy!" I hear Jai saying as he ran up to me as I closed the car door. I lifted him up and smiled at him

"Hey baby boy how was school today?" I ask him

"It was good I didn't get in any fights like I promised you" he tell me

"That's great Jai I'm proud of you. Did your mommy pack you clothes for tomorrow?" I ask him as we head inside

"Yeah I think so she told me that I get to stay with you tonight and tomorrow and go home Sunday" he tells me as I shut the door.

"Did she now? Well alright then so what do you wanna do first?" I ask him as I put him down.

"I want to play video games with you Justin and Derek" he says

"Hey little man Derek's in his room helping one of his friends study for an exam that we have on Monday" Justin tells him.

"Oh okay then we three can play video games?" He asks him

"You bet we will now what do you wanna play?" Justin asks him

"Doesn't matter to me as long as we do it together" he says

"Alright then let's do this" I say as I see Derek and Aspen with their skateboards.

"No way you skateboard uncle Derek?" Jai asks him

"We all do Jai" I tell him

"That's awesome can you teach me?" He asks me

"Yeah come on" Justin says as he grabs his board and a short one for Jai. I smiled to myself and grabbed my board. I heard my phone ring. I grabbed it to see that Destiny is calling me. I laid my phone down and walked outside.

"Daddy! Look! Look at me!" Jai says in excitement because of the move that Justin is teaching him.

"I see you, you're doing great baby boy" I tell him as I put my board down in front of me

As we all skateboarded in front of the house I saw a car pulling up and I went to grab Jai.

"Jai please don't ever do that again okay look at me you could've gotten hurt" I tell him as he looked at me

"I'm sorry daddy I didn't want to break uncle Justin's board" he says with sad eyes as he looked at me

"I know, but I'm so glad that you're okay and safe" I say as I ran my fingers through his brown wavy locks I picked him up and saw who was getting out of the car. When I did I rolled my eyes.

"Justin someone's here for you" I yell

"Oh don't act like you aren't happy to see me" Liena says to me

"Oh really well I'm not so take yourself somewhere far away from me" I say as she headed inside to talk to Justin

"Daddy who was that?" Jai asks me

"Just a really really old friend of daddy's okay baby and it's seven-thirty let's get you inside for a bath" I tell him as we head inside

"Daddy when I grow up I wanna be just like you" he tells me as my heart tugged at his words

"Really? Why do you wanna be like me when you grow up?" I ask him as we headed to the bathroom

"Because you're smart, funny, strong and well your a good guy daddy and I love you" he tells me as he feels how warm the water is before stepping inside.

"Oh okay so how does mommy usually give you a bath?" I ask him as he looked up at me

"Well she heats the water up and puts bubbles in it. Then she goes and gets Oliver for me he's my alligator and then she leaves so I can play  for a little bit. Then she comes back and washes my hair and other stuff" he tells me while he played with his alligator

"Alright well since your not at mommy's what do you want me to do? Do you want me to stay in here with you? Or do you want me to leave and then come back?" I ask him

"I want you to stay mommy never stays with me long enough to play with me and it makes me sad" he tells me I knelt down next to the tub on my knees and lifted his chin up

"Jai are things okay at home with mommy and Brandon?" I ask him while I squirted soap onto a loofa and began to wash his body.

"Yeah everything is fine at home with them I just wish mommy had more time to spend with me cause she is always working and well grandma is always watching tv or sleeping" he tells me while I rinsed him off and began to wash his hair

"Awe that makes me feel sad Jai because when you hurt I hurt too" I tell him as I rinsed his hair

"Daddy" he says

"Yeah Jai" I say

"We'll always be together right?" He asks me

"Yeah when mommy isn't around we'll be together, but when I get around grandmas age I might not be around" I tell him as the water drained out of the tub. I wrapped him up in a towel and lifted him in the air and he laughed all the way to my room.

"Ah! Hahaha! Daddy! Put me down!" He screams as we enter my room and I shut the door with my foot.

I sat him flat on his feet and he smiled up at me. Oh I love him so much. I went and grabbed his bag and pulled out his pajamas. When I pulled them out I smiled

"Hey don't laugh at my pajamas" he says as he slipped his little briefs on.

"I'm not laughing your unicorn pajamas are very cute Jai" I say as I put lotion on him. After doing that I put his footy pajamas on him and brushed his hair.

"Alright little man what do you and Oscar want for diner?" I ask him

"Oh I don't know you pick daddy" he says as he opens my door.

"Woah!" He adds on

I sprinted out the door and when I got around the corner I saw Justin with Jasper and they were holding hands while watching tv on the couch.
