Olivia's pov
——————
I came to as my head throbs and my throat felt very dry. I hadn't drank anything this morning, and so I tried to get up all of the While a sharp pain in my head stopped me from getting up. I grunted as I laid back down while I let the pain subsided me.
"Olivia!" I heard Edward's voice. I looked over with tired eyes. In his eyes he looked shock and set a tray down, walking up to me while caressing my hair.
"Are you alright?" He asks. I nodded slowly in response without saying a word. I moaned as I tried to sit up in bed.
"What happened?" I mumbled softly. I felt like I wanted to go back to sleep.
"Jou passed out and I wasn't sure if you were alright." He sighed heavily and run his hair back. I could tell he was extremely scared for me.
"I'm..." I tried to say something, but I stopped.
"Maxis told me about the Raven knights." His eyes looked harden and serious. My heart sank and I gulped. Of course he knew. I figured he would know and there was no win to it. I guess there was no point in trying to hide it. What was I thinking?
"Mind explaining me about it in your prospective?" He spoke almost harshly. He crossed his arms while still staring at me. I could immediately tell he wasn't that happy with me. I could see that now, and I felt stupid enough to hide something important when it was necessary to just speak about it. I breathed in and out slowly and began explaining to him.
"Me and the others went to Antarctica to locate the relics and Thule. We manage to find both, but before hand, there was a mural of some sort that had us in it and we were battling the undead army and Thule. Marie's brother appeared out of the blue and he gave us the power to defeat Thule. Thousands of years ago, I suppose we defeat him and we thought that was the end of it, and now he has awaken, we tried to kill him, but I'm still unsure if he's dead. We don't know whether he really had a weakness or not. Everything felt very familiar and I know he's not dead yet." I ended it, and looked into Edward's eyes, they still looked icy cold, and hardened, like ice. I knew I have to come clean to everything and I wish I should've told him, instead of making him worried.
"Edward, I'm really sorry. You have every right to know what we been though. I was just scared. I've been getting headaches left and right, and in my dream I've been getting scary nightmares and my body had changed in some degree. I wanted to figure out what was going on with me, and tell my team about it before we tell it to you all. I know it wasn't the right thing, but what choice can I make?"
"What choice? What choice?! Do you really think it was that hard to tell me about something as simple as this?" He retorted. I twitched and my mood changed.
"Simple? You call this simple? Edward, I was having excruciating pains and terrible nightmares that I can't explain and you call that "simple"?" I bellowed.
"No I-" he sighed heavily trying to recognize what he was meant to say.
"I didn't mean that. I'm sorry. That came out wrong. Olivia, you can tell me anything. Please, Olivia, I don't want you to hide anything from me or my team. Whatever it was you were going through you should've told me something and we could sort this out." He explains. I grew silent, calming down and looking back at Edward.
"You don't hide things from the people you care about. Ever." He finishes. I was silent still and nodded.
"I'm sorry. You're right. I was just...scared. I just didn't know where to turn to and Marie was the only person that I felt like I could turn to." I told him. I feel guilty about that, since he and I have a thing going on and he seems to care about me more than ever.
"I understand. I'm so sorry that you had to go through it. I just wished that you could just tell me, I would help you in anyway. Well no matter. How are you feeling right now?" Edward asked.
"Just a minor pain in the head but it should cease about now." I replied.
"Just get some rest. Here," Edward brings the tray over, with a glass of water and bowl of something in it that I couldn't make it out. I needed water though, and I grabbed a hold of the glass, drinking every ounce of liquid there was till I was satisfied enough.
"Good. I'll be back I have to check Marie."
"How is she?"
"Dempsey is pretty ticked about the whole thing, especially how that she didn't tell him anything. He just needs time."
"I suppose so." I then leave Olivia in the room and went inside Marie's room. She looks distraught. Almost as if she was giving up.
"Marie, how are you feeling?" I asked her, even though I knew nothing was right about her.
"I'm fine. It's just Dempsey needs time. It's my fault."
"Don't worry about him. He gets carried away by his rage."
"But he was right, I should've told him."
"I know, but to Dempsey, it will pass. I promise you Marie, he doesn't mean the things he says. He's just worried."
"I know."
"Here, I'll bring you some more water. You should probably get rest." Edward begins to leave. I was curious though and I knew that he was up with something. I got up from my bed and walked towards the patio but I didn't go outside as Dempsey and Edward were both present. I listened to their conversation.
"I suppose Olivia is alright." I heard Dempsey and I sat behind the wall listening to the hat was going on.
"Yes. We just had a feud, but we're cool." Edward mummer. Edward probably needed to talk to Dempsey. I would hope he was alright, judging by the looks of him, it looked as if he had been done with an argument. I felt worried as of him and Marie. I wasn't sure if their relationship was starting to strain. I didn't want that to happen.
"So I suppose you talked to Marie." Edward replied and I heard Dempsey sighed in response, and spoke.
"I just fucking wish she would tell me this shit. I-I just don't want her to hide this. I know this is the first, but still. I just...I'm just worried." The way he sounded. He really was developing feelings for Marie. I knew he cared about her just by looking at them together.
"And you believe yelling at her would solve anything?" Edward asked sternly. Dempsey began to yelled in fury.
"No! I just" He sighed roughly. "I was just worried and scared! And it's stupid to think she could trick me and you into thinking that she saw something when she cause that stupid diversion of her own!"
"I understand, Dempsey, I'm upset at this too, but, know that she was probably as worried as you." Edward added.
"Then why couldn't she just tell us?" Dempsey asked.
"Perhaps she wasn't sure if knew all about the history of their individual selfs." Edward replies.
"And I suppose Maxis told you the answer?"
"Yes."
"I just don't know what to do."
"For now, you apologize. Yelling at her for something excruciating and as terrifying as this isn't going to solve anything."
"I know. She's been through a lot. I can see that. She's probably upset though. I'll check up on her." Dempsey walked away and through the kitchen and into the room where Marie was.
"I suppose you heard?" I nodded. He didn't seemed to care though but, nevertheless, he asked again.
"Is your headache gone down?"
"For now. I checked up on Marie and she's asleep. She look as if she was crying."
"I talked to Dempsey about it. Marie and you have gone through things and I can understand you're intentions on hiding, but promise that next time that you tell us if something is wrong, and we can help."
"I promise." I softly spoke.
