Walk All Over You

Chapter Eight

"So where to today?" I ask sitting at the table. The members from Guns N' Roses had decided to join us all on the one bus today, so it was a lot more crowded today than usual.

"Lafayette, Louisiana." Duff answers from the opposite side of the table.

"Oh okay." I nod my head.

"So who's playin'?" I ask shuffling the deck of cards in my hand.

"Count me in." Nikki held his head in his hands.

"Yeah, me too Suzie-Q." Steven grins sitting next to Duff.

"This is a game for pussies." Slash growls.

"You're the pussy playin' it."Duff retorts, flashing a smile towards me after snarling at his band mate.

"Fuck it, I'm in." Axl takes the seat on the end, with Izzy following behind, just sitting to the side, watching intently.

"Suzie-Q, play two decks, it'll be more than enough for everybody." Tommy throws me another deck of cards; Axl reached up and caught the deck in his hands, slapping the deck down into the palm of my hand.

"Cheers." I say keeping my eyes from him. Removing the other pack from the box, I shuffled it into the rest of the cards, almost spilling it everywhere as I shuffled.

"Go fish is the shittiest game out." Axl notes.

"It can't be too bad, you're playin' it." Nikki groans still keeping his position.

"Stop your complainin' it's better than nothin'." Slash snaps. Once the cards were shuffled to my satisfactory, I began to hand out the cards, going in a circle as I did so. Seven cards each, seemed good enough. When I had finished handing out the cards, I placed the left over's onto the middle of the table, ready to start the game. Picking up my hand, I searched for any possible pairs, in which with my bad luck, I had none. Although all of my cards seemed to consist of diamonds and hearts. Ace of hearts, King of diamonds, three of diamonds, Joker, six of spades, two of diamonds and finally Jack of heart.

"Who's going first?" Nikki questions picking up his cards finally.

"Ladies first, Suzie-Q should go first, then we'll go around in a circle?" Duff suggests.

"Sounds alright with me. Go on darlin' give it to us." Nikki looked up with a pained expression, giving me a cheeky wink.

Looking down at my cards, for a split second, I chose a card I was going to ask for and looked immediately towards Nikki.

"Nikki, do you have an Ace?" I ask, hoping I had asked the right person. Nikki took a quick glance down at his cards and looked back up at me with a cheeky grin.

"Go fish. Sorry darlin'." Nikki chuckled. Smiling, I picked up a card from the deck, making sure nobody saw it and looked down. King. First pair, about time.

"Alright, Slash, my man. You got a ten?" Nikki eyed Slash suspiciously.

"I might. And I might not." Slash smirked staring at his cards.

"I do, but you ain't getting it. Cause I'm putting it down as a pair." Slash chuckles placing a pair down before looking back up at a frowning Nikki. Nikki rolled his eyes and picked up a card from the deck, now it was Steven's turn.

"Slash, babe. Give me your tits." Steven chortles, then immediately stops staring at Slash seriously.

"You prick." Slash laughed throwing the card across the table at Steven. Steven smirked, placing his new pair down before he looked up again, his eyes scanning around the table.
