"You can just set that stuff in the room, C."

I've known Cesar for nearly a week. He's been the one to help me unpack and set my heavy furniture and boatload of clothes into my room, and I've got to admit, he's cute.

"So how long do you think you're going to be around? To stay, I mean." Cesar asked

I picked up a box and started to walk into my new house. "Well, if you don't want me to stay-

"No, no. That's not what I mean at all." Cesar interrupted

I walked into my room and set the box on the queen sized bed. "I know what you mean." I said with a laugh. "I'm most likely going to stay here until I graduate."

"Most likely?" Cesar asked

I sighed. "I'm not going to live here till I'm forty, C. I'm going to go to college."

"Must be nice." Cesar responded

I gave him a sweet smile and of course the little moment had to be ruined by Jasmine.

"Wassup bitches!?" She yelled

"Jasmine, what the hell are you doing in my house?" I asked

"Girl, I'm here to make your room look good. I was thinking about some pink walls, some string lights." Jasmine explained

"I didn't know you were such a interior decorator." I said

"Mama yes. I'm going to make your room look so damn good your man would never wanna leave." Jasmine replied

"My man?" I asked

Jasmine nodded. "I know it's only your first week here, but as soon as you put yourself out there the boys are gonna be at your window every night knocking for some cooch-

"Cesar, do you mind getting the rest of my bags? They're outside." I asked of Cesar, changing the subject

"Y-Yeah, sure." He said

Now it was just Jasmine and I left. I didn't hate Jasmine, but I can't lie and say I like her all the time. I mean, she did just walk in my house.

And I've only known her for a day.

"Jasmine, I understand that you want to help me, and be a good friend before the first day of school, but I think I know what to do. I am a senior as of Monday, anyway." I explained
