"Latrelle's roll up on Cesar is all over IG." Monse announced as both her and Ruby showed Olivia and I their phones.

Ever since the other night. I've been scared to come home. The Prophets are out to get me. And it was all Luke's fault. Never have I ever been so scared in my life. Mason's aunt on our mom's side took him in for awhile without my step douche bag noticing. He probably thinks he's with me.

Which should keep him off my back for awhile.

He's not that low to where he'd hurt me, in front of his son.

"I'm really stressed. We've barely talked in the last two days." Olivia stated

"With all the Santos at his crib, it's like a safe house. As long as he lays low and doesn't show, he's all good." Ruby explained

"I am all good." A voice said from straight ahead. It was Cesar.

"What are you doing here?" Ruby asked

"Yeah, you shouldn't be here." Monse answered

"I have a math test." Cesar answered

"Cesar, you have a green light on you." Olivia replied

"So does Mia, and she's here." Cesar responded. I rolled my eyes. "And besides, I'm Spooky's brother. I have a green light on me every day."

"If something happens to you-

"I'm fine." Cesar said, cutting off Olivia. "I'm gonna be in and out. Just here for the test, okay? So don't worry about me, worry about your quince. Your dress is coming today, right?"

Olivia nodded. "Trust me, I'll be good." Cesar reassured

Olivia walked away. "I need a favor. Take Olivia's mind off me today. Get her to focus on her quince."

"We can do that." Ruby said

"Go straight home after school. The block is hot and I need you guys to stay safe." Cesar said as he looked at me. I frowned.

I have nowhere to go.

"But what about you? How do we make sure you're safe?" Monse asked

Cesar phone rang and he looked at it for a few seconds then sighed. "Uh, I got to go. Shit. Tell Ms. Blanchard I'm sick or something."

Cesar began to walk away then turned around and looked at me.

"Mia, come with me." Cesar said

"Me? Why?" I asked

"Because you and I are in the same situation and Spooky will get just as mad at you as he will at me if he finds out that you're in school today." Cesar explained

"Cesar, I can't leave. I-

Cheering and hollering came from behind us. The four of us turned around. Luke was jumping and skipping down the hallway and high fiving a bunch of other kids wearing green. Prophets.

Once he seen Cesar and I he stopped with all of the loud noise and looked at us calmly.

"Watch out Santos kids." Luke said as he pointed under his eye

Luke had a teardrop.

My heart nearly dropped. He was really about it now. First he set me up. And now he's actually killed someone. And worst of all, it was a Santos.

I looked at Monse, and she looked scared as well.

"Monse-

"You need to leave. Both of you." She said
