"On your knees."

Cesar and I stood in front of Latrelle, with C having a gun to his head.

Yeah, Latrelle was back.

So here's what happened. C and I have been tracking his every move ever since I came back. The only thing is Oscar doesn't know. So if and when Oscar finds out... we're fucked.

I originally planned to hold the gun. But Cesar has more of a grudge against Latrelle, more hatred. I told Cesar that if something goes wrong, I'm the one that pulled the trigger.

Cesar is just a kid. He shouldn't be in the middle of all this gang bullshit. But neither should Trell be, or Luke for that matter. Shit, even me.

"I don't get on my knees for no Santo." Latrelle responded. He then gave me the most dirtiest of looks, but at the same time most shocked of ones.

Yup, Mia's here.

"Do it!" Cesar growled.

Latrelle smirked. "Oh, so you think you're a man now? Show me. You got that strap, let's see your pussy-ass use it. Or is Mia gonna have to do it?"

Cesar started breathing heavily, then Latrelle moved the gun away from his head and took off. "Hey!" Cesar yelled.

I sighed. "Damnit." I whispered, following the two.

This has now gotten ridiculous. What happened to the big bad Latrelle who never ran away from anything? Who took whatever challenge was in front of him?

I see why he only did drive by's. And wore all those big hoodies.

Because he's scared.

"Nothing but a scared little punk." I said, trying to catch my breath as I finally caught up to C and Trell. Cesar had caught him in a dead end. And had the gun once again pointed at him.

"This isn't even your fight, M, why don't you get the hell out of here." Latrelle suggested.

I scoffed. "My fight? You wouldn't even know a fight if you seen one. You're a pussy. I'm surprised Luke is even in jail now, since you taught him everything you know."

"Luke is in jail because he's an idiot. He got caught." Latrelle replied.

I shook my head. "Cesar give me the gun."

"Oh what, you gonna shoot me?"

I put my hand on Cesar's shoulder. "C, the gun. Give it to me."

"Come on, Cesar. You got it. Shoot me."

"Ces-"

"Shoot me, bitch!" Latrelle screamed.

Cesar pulled the trigger without warning. At that moment I was thinking the worst. This kid was my family in a way. And I can't betray family. I can't let my family do this. What would I do? Take the blame?

Help Cesar hid a damn body?

I snapped back into reality. The gun clicked. No bullet. Nothing. Latrelle stood there with total fear. And so did Cesar, he wasn't ready to actually kill somebody. And he knew that.

Latrelle took his hood off and whistled. Then they're were whistles in the distance.

Shit.

"You're one dead Santo." Latrelle said with a smirk. "Well, two." He added, winking at me.

Cesar and I took off. "Go!" He said, pointing right when he ran left. He knew Latrelle wouldn't worry about me as much as he did Cesar. But that doesn't mean the rest of his Prophet boys weren't on my tail as I ran for my life.
