CHAPTER 8 : DATE-UNEXPECTED

JUVIA'S POV

Finally the weekend has arrived, for the past one week, I really enjoyed my part-time job.

The owner, Ur, is very caring, friendly and professional. She makes the working atmosphere quite comfortable.

I befriended a few high schoolers and the pay is quite high as well. I should thank Gray for this opportunity.

I also came to know she has a daughter who works in college as a sports instructor whom I still haven't met.

Just then, my mobile vibrated. It was a message from Bora-kun.

From : Bora-kun

Hey Juvia, are you free today? Because I'm free. Come let's hang out together. I promise that I will make up for all the lost time. So let's meet up at the mall which is nearby my store at 2pm, Bye.

So finally, I'm going on a date. It feels like eternity. I should get ready. It's already 1pm.

I went to the room and saw this lazy goose taking a nap. To be on safer side, I woke him up and sent him out. He growled at me but then too complied to my order.

Exactly, after 30 mins, I was ready to enjoy the evening with my beloved boyfriend.

"Hey Gray, I'm going out. It might take awhile so don't wait for me, make dinner for yourself. Bye."

"Juvia, wear that ring. Mrs.Ashley is outside and might interrogate you about the missing ring from your finger.
    Fine, bye. Enjoy your day. I'm going to spend the rest of my day relaxing."

He waved bye with a yawn and made his way towards the bedroom.

I wore the ring. As Gray said Mrs.Ashley was out talking to one of the neighbours. They greeted me so do I.

"Juvia dear, where are you going without Gray?"

"Today I'm going to hang out with my girlfriends. Mrs.Ashley, please excuse my rude manners. I'm in a hurry. Sorry and bye."

She waved me bye and I left.

TIME SKIP

I reached the mall luckily without getting lost. I removed the ring so that Bora-kun doesn't become wary and went in.

I saw him waiting for me at the entrance of a shop. I went up to him to give a tight hug to show my longingness to be in his arms.

"Sorry, did I make you wait?"

"Nah!!! Exactly on time. Come let's make up for all the lost time, dear."

He smiled after breaking my embrace a bit soon without commenting anything on it. 

I hooked my arm with his and chose to ignore this unsettling thought so that our date doesn't get ruined.

First, we enjoyed the newly released movie, then went shopping.

Bora-kun got me a few crop tops and a pair of pencil jeans. I refused but he insisted. Then I got him some matching T-shirt and aviator sunglasses.

Time sure flies fast when we are having good times just like that it was around 7 pm when we entered the restaurant to end our lovely date.

In the restaurant, we saw Natsu-san and Lucy-san, looks like they had come for a dinner date.

They saw us and greeted us.

"What a coincidence Juvia that we met you here. What brings you here? Ohhh!! Won't you introduce us to your boyfriend and vice-versa." Lucy-san smiled at us. Then I remembered.

"Yeah sorry about that. Lucy-san and Natsu-san, this is Bora-kun, my boyfriend. And Bora-kun, they are my friends in college." I blushed and introduced them.

"Hey I'm Bora Charms. Nice meeting you both." He smiled at them and shaked his hands.Then we had dinner. 

In the end, Natsu-san insisted on paying for everything. But I intervened and insisted the treat was on ours. So at the end, it was Bora-kun who paid for us.

It was around 9 p.m when we left. We separated from the Nalu couple. As we were going down the lane, he asked me.

"Juvia, did you enjoy the date? Hope I made up for all the lost time."

"Yeah Bora-kun, I enjoyed it very much. Thank you."

I hugged him and gave a peck on his cheeks.

"Well I didn't expect the peck here. But I want it here." He pointed at the lips.

I blushed and thought why don't we take our relationship to the next level. It's just a kiss on the lips.

But before I could think of kissing him, he leaned forward and kissed my lips. I was shocked but returned it.

I felt this kiss didn't excite me nor it made me happy. I don't know why I'm feeling like this. 

Then he smirked, "So Juvia, want to stay at my apartment tonight? Well my roommates won't be there till morning." He asked while scratching his cheeks.

I know where this was going to lead. But I was not ready for that stage yet. It's not that I don't trust Bora-kun but I felt this was not the time.

"Juvia, please think about it. We have been dating for a year. Don't you trust me. Am I just a passing cloud for you?" He held my shoulder and was looking straight into my eyes.

"But Bora-kun, I'm not ready. It's not that I don't trust you. Please try to understand from my point of view, Bora-kun."

He let go of my shoulders and looked disappointed. "Fine, do whatever you want. Come let me drop you at home."

Just then, he got a call and left me standing alone in the middle of the night.

Looks like this call required his attention so he left me after apologising.

I assured him to continue with his work. But I felt bad and hurt that he left in the middle of the road.

'Was he mad at me that I didn't accept this obligation? At least, he could have called a taxi to make sure I reached home safely.' I thought.

As I was wondering in my thoughts while passing through the dark alley to reach the Snowlane locality.

Someone tapped my shoulder, this made me snap out of my thoughts. It was some stranger. He reeked of alcohol, stupid drunkard.

"Missy, wanna enjoy some alone time with me?" He caught both of my wrists and was pulling me towards him.

I struggled and tried to kick him. But it was in vain. He went behind and held my arms together so that he could tie them which he succeeded.

I was shouting for help but there was no sight of any person. Then he stuffed a piece of cloth into my mouth to muffle up the voice. 

Then he pushed me against the wall. And slowly came forward.

"Missy, you are one of those resisting types and not to forget brave enough to come all alone in this dark alley. But I guess, today's my lucky day as it's been ages since I had such a ravishing dinner."

I became frightened and started crying for my life. He took out the knife and began to tear my top. He finally managed to remove them.

I was ashamed of the assault that was happening to me. He kept staring at my breast with those lust filled eyes and was moving forward to tear my bra.

I closed my eyes and thought my life got over right here.

Just then, I heard someone slamming him to the wall and he was groaning in pain.
