CHAPTER 27 : WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

JUVIA'S POV

I was feeling much better now as compared to morning. Even though there was still some pain, I can manage it now.

I should thank Gray for his lovely help and concern. He left 2 hours ago to pick up his parents and led them to their guest house for the surprise party.

He insisted me to join the party, only if I felt better but I assured him, I was alright now. He informed me that the girls will pick me up at 2 p.m.

I wore a short pink floral printed frock which reached up to mid-thighs and let my hair free. The frock had a white bow in the middle of the waist region.

For accessories, I wore a pearl necklace and a matching bracelet. Then put up, a subtle makeup which included a compact, mascara and a pink lipstick.

I heard a soft knock on the door, I opened, to reveal Lucy-san and others. "Wow Juvia, you look so beautiful." Lucy-San exclaimed.

I made them sit on the couch and handed them juice.

"I'm sure Gray will fall head over heels once again he sees you now." Levy-San teased me.

I blushed, " Thank you but even you girls look beautiful. A tough competition for me. Looks like I can't stand a chance against you."

Just then my mobile rang, I picked up to see that Briar calling me.

"Juvia, who is calling you? Pick up the call." Erza-San told me.

"It's that Briar." I told them how she instructed me not to attend the party.

Now I know the truth, I'm not going to let go of my Gray to this bitch.

"Put the call on speaker." And I did as they said, "Juvia, hope you are not coming to the party. Just think about who you are and where you come from. 
      Gray belongs to me. So vacates from his place, I can't stand to see a whore like you next to my Gray." She insulted me. 

I was fuming with rage, and decided that I will teach her a private lesson.

"Well Briar-San, can I meet up with you now in the park? I need to say something important about Gray." As expected, she fell for my plan.

Soon, I and the girls went to the park. They decided to help me in teaching that bitch a nice lesson.

I saw her sitting on the bench fully ready to attend the party.

"Hi Briar-San, you look nice."

"What do you want to talk about Juvia? And why are you dressed up? Didn't I tell you not to....."

Before she could finish the statement, I slapped her hard.

She got angry and raised her hands to hit but I caught hold of her wrist and twisted it.

"Idiot Juvia, why are you doing this?"

"Stop it's enough. Your act has been revealed." I slapped her again.

"What act? I won't let any bitch to have my Gray." She shouted.

"Who told he belongs to you? He is mine. He is my world and life. I won't let any bitch snatch away my dream right under my nose.
     See this ring, this shows I belong to him. And you have seen the matching ring in his finger, that shows he belongs to me.
      Your covers are blown. Don't mess with us ever again or else you will spend the rest of your life behind the bars."

I yelled and hit her once again with a tight slap across her damn face.

She ran away, yelling "you will pay for it." I showed her middle finger.
