NARRATOR'S POV

The team Fairy Tail reached the Crocus around 10 a.m from Magnolia.

They were determined to win this year's sports event at any cost, of course, in an ethical manner.

At the final moment, the Sabertooth Academy made few changes as the meet would be for 3 days and cancelled and included few of the other competitions.

Basically, all the athletic and water events will be the main focus of attention.

ERZA'S POV

We reached the academy at 12 noon, after strolling around the busy town.

I, as the leader of the group, took the responsibility of encouraging my teammates in winning every game.

I registered everyone's name according to their assigned game.

So in the evening, we will have the opening ceremony.

For the last 7 years, it was Sabertooth who has been winning the event. This time we are going to change history.

"Hey Erza, what are you thinking about?" Natsu asked me.

"Nothing much, just about the game. Everyone, we must win the event at all costs." I extended my hand for group cheer and everyone followed.

Then we shouted, "Let's go Fairy Tail..."

"Not so fast fairies  when we tigers are still around." I heard an annoying voice. We turned to look at the group which was led by a girl.

"This year again, we tigers will win under my captaincy. Just because you changed your team's name, that won't change the fact that you will taste the dirt at the end."

Minvera, the Sabertooth Academy's ace in sports, taunted us while her group smirked at us.

"We believe in actions rather than words. So we will show the tigers that, this time the fairies will be the one to grab the trophy." Lucy replied back in confidence while Jellal was handling Natsu and Gajeel from making a scene.

"Don't worry fairies even if you lose, we mermaids, will make sure to make them taste the dirt."

We heard another voice and saw it was from the sport instructor of Mermaid Heels College.

"Ultear, what are you doing here?" Gray asked rather in surprise.

"Idiot, did you forget that I work as an instructor for this college? Didn't I say to you  yesterday that I will meet you here." Both of the cousins were bickering at each other.

"Oh you are Ultear-San. Nice meeting you. Myself Juvia Locksar working in your mom's cake shop as a part-timer." Juvia introduced herself to her and they were having their conversation.

The mermaids even though it consists of only female competitors.

We mustn't underestimate their strength. They left us to register themselves for the games.

"Hey why are the phantoms here with you? Did you fairies beg to have them with you so that you could win a couple of games?"

Sting Eucliffe, an arrogant brat from Sabertooth who is their ace in athletics spoke.

"It's none of your business, brat." Gajeel back answered him.

"Oh I know your shitty Phantom Lords college was disbanded because of some badass people like you and your sister." Another member mocked them.
