Chapter 1 - School

( 10 years later )Tris POV

My alarm sings Death Valley by Fall Out Boy. I LOOOVE THIS BAND SOO MUCH!! I start singing along but then I realise It's the first day back at school! I can't wait to see all my friends, especially Four. He has been my absolute best friend ever since we met on my first day of school. I have to admit, even though he is my best friend, I might have a tiny crush on him, I mean look at him ! he has all the girls drooling over at him. 

But even if I wanted him, he's dating Nita. Shes really nice and pretty, but I think she might be hiding some stuff from all of us.

I quickly grab my Wallabies jersey, yellow pants and green connies, which I wear every first day of school. It's my signature thing. 

I run downstairs expecting to see Mum ( I am Aussie so i spell it like that) and Dad but all I see is a note on the table. I go over and pick it up.

Hey Tris,

Your father and I Have gone on a work cruise and will be back in 2 months,

so it's just you. Have fun, but not too much!

we'll miss you Kiddo

I forgot Caleb had gone to college so It's just me & Martin, my alsatian. I got him last year for my 17th! He is soo cute!!

I quickly eat my breakfast which consist of a blueberry muffin, grab my skateboard, bag and keys and head out the door. I ride to Uriah and Zeke's  place so i can walk/ ride with them, they live  just down the street. I arrive and open the door and walk straight in, they are like my brothers, so they gave me a key. As soon as I walk in their eyes lighgt up and they jump up.

"TRISSYYYYYY!!!!"

"Hey guys ho-" I got cut off with a footy tackle / hug

"What the? U guys know not to knock me over!" I yell at them, then grab their ears and flip them over... happens everytime and they never learn!

"OWWW TRISSY!!" screams uriah clutching his ear. " I forgot how strong she was" he says to Zeke

" Come on dummkopfs ( my impressive german ), we'll be late for school!" I grab my phone and start blaring Fall Out Boy's new AMAZING song, centuries. (song on right). 

Some legends are told, Some turn to dust or to gold, but you will remember me, remember me for centuries

I bite my tounge not to sing. Ever since 9th grade ( freshman year ) when they found out I can sing, they have always begged me to sing. I am just hoping they won't make me today.

"We better hurry, we only have 1/2 an hour" exclaims Zeke. Phew! 

We leave the house and I ride while they walk. 

Agh i hate school.
