Have you ever lost your loved one? You feel like you're fading and everything starts collapsing around you...

I was staring at the message for what seemed an eternity. It didn't want to set into my mind, did it?

She was dead, my dear Cassey.. But I had my doubts and I was still hoping that, perhaps, I would find her alive. My sweat was dropping down from behind my wavy bangs as I was waiting for my older brother, Kaleb, to lead me to the airport. I was spending my time trying to calm my thoughts while he was getting ready.

Something startled me every time I was rereading the message though.

"Dear Shane Volz,

I'm writing in order to inform you that Cassey is no longer with us. It was her time to leave and we could not change her fate as much as we would of wanted to.

I know she was dear to you and for this I truly regret you had to find out about her demise from a letter, but this is what happens with long distance relationships.

I hope that you will be able to step forward and move on because life is way too beautiful to be lived in sorrow.

With love, Cassey's older sister"

A well written formal letter... written by who? Cassey had been the only child and I couldn't find a reason why she would lie to me about something like this. Further more the so called "sister" didn't sign down her own name, it can't be something you just forget about.. This only doubt made me hope that maybe, just maybe it might of been all a joke from a friend or something of that manner. This small thought made me calmer..

After some hours, I and Kaleb were already in the air plane on the way to Great Britain where he had to study. My destination on the other hand was a little farther, the place I was heading to was private in a way or another, not a lot of people were aware of it. The isle only contained a small city that was difficult to find without help from the inside but we were sure it was around the British isles. Also there had been rumours that the isle was haunted or just strange events were occurring around the city, but nothing could of been worse than my country.

As different thoughts were clouding my mind, my brother managed to break the silence and make me pay attention to him.

"So tell me...What do you think it will be like?" He stared at me while rubbing his small yet rebel soul patch.

"I'm expecting serious artists and fun teachers." I replied with a sarcastic tone."I really have no clue.. I just hope I will not regret it."
