I shook my head lightly as I was still glaring at the enormous trees.

"There is nothing interesting about me or my life, this place is full of amazing and magical stories but mine is plain simple as with any other average human being."

"Hey... don't say that, everyone is special." Enya sighed and walked lower down the hill. She shook away her flamed hand as the morning light was surrounding us, lighting up even that place. On spur of moment I heard a woman voice coming down from the street near.

"Roger! May I have your attention for a second?"

I didn't know what that was about so I looked at Enya but the glare was not returned and she was only going down the hill to the street near.

"Hey! don't ignore me!" I shouted at her while following and sprinting behind.

"I am here my lady, how may I help you?"

"I might need your help in finding a new student that arrived not so long ago. Having a conference with him is unavoidable."

When I finally reached Enya I ended up having two pairs of eyes on me. I looked at the lady and murmured a polite welcome, she replied in the same manner.

"He is Shane my lady, he is just a slow follower if you haven't noticed."

Enya giggled giving me time for a proper reply. I looked at the lady a bit shocked. Could she be that one woman who I had seen on my first day on the island? Recalling made me deny the possibility, as the other woman had bright and cold blue eyes. On the other hand this one had warm green hazel eyes and a mild facial expression. Unless people used to change eye color as well I had no explanation for that case.

"Um.. I am still getting used to the area so I won't run around too fast."

She smiled wide and took my hand to shake it, which was weird for a woman to do.

"Where are my manners. My name is Elizabeth Statera, I am one of the rulers and my and my sister's duty is to keep this island at peace, as much as we can. Roger, perhaps you have already helped me unconsciously."

I looked at Enya confused and she chuckled again. "Roger is my brother, even if our bodies are different I am ocasionally called by his name because we share the same soul."

"That makes sense.. I think." I shrugged at them. The island was getting more and more complicated for me by each passing second.

"Anyways, you must be Shane Volz, the new student at the Sivellius College of the Arts? Am I right, dear?" Elizabeth ran her fingers through her short chocolate shaded hair and arranged her burgundy suit while waiting for my reply.

"Um..yes! You are right miss, is there any problem?"

She sighed lightly and looked at Enya who nodded in response. It gave me a few chills down my spine, was there something wrong? I only knew that they acted really mysterious and I wanted so badly to know what that was all about.

"Do not worry my child, I only need to have a talk with you. Maybe we can do it while visiting your soon to be college if you do not mind." I rubbed my arm, I was surely worrying already but I nodded and stepped by Elizabeth's side.

Enya bowed slightly to us. "See you later, Shane, miss Elizabeth."

The first half an hour of walking by the ruler's side was quiet and almost enigmatic. What was she going to tell me soon? Or perhaps I had to be the one talking, I couldn't know.

"So tell me my dear child, what brought you here to our island? It is a fortune for someone to find out about this place, especially without any connection from it."

I looked around at the streets and buildings, different people passing. I rubbed my nape and replied to the reminder of my pain. " Well... I could say it was through a connection. I was about to meet the girl that introduced me to this place but it was not meant to be fulfilled."

"I'm sorry... that must be unfortunate. Even though she probably recommended you this place, I cannot do the same. strange things occur in here." Elizabeth looked at the sky that was now clouding up in a cold day.

"Is it about the magic? I think I am starting to understand a bit about it.." She sighed and looked away at a park not so far away from the street we were passing.

"It is not only about the magic little boy but... The more you stay here the bigger the danger you are in will be. It is more than sure that I will be by your side and try to help you as much as possible, but that will not come from everyone on this island. In fact the number of people will be really short."

"Please miss Elizabeth, can you explain it to me? If everyone keeps telling me I am in danger I will probably ignore it because I don't know anything about it." She looked down and said softly.

"Nobody can tell you yet my child. If you leave now you will have to do it only by the warning, I cannot give you more information than this or it might harm you. You are not ready to receive it yet."

After her last reply another moment of silence made its way between us, by that time we were only walking to the Sivellius College of the Arts for what had to be some sort of a tour. At least I hoped I could find out a thing or two, leaving all this spent money would not of happened without some solid reasons.

Sooner or later I knew that someone will open up and answer every single question that I had wondering around in my mind. I just hoped that the day will come before my death.
